This could be true in the sense that the A&E biography could be a prelude to the DVD because there is some exclusive backstage footage.

Few days ago many italian fans read two articles about Francesco Dragone, the success that brought in Las Vegas and particularly to the show of Céline...he also revealed that the "famous" DVD will be out in May here in Italy...So, i don't know if this news are really true, but i trust and WE trust that You are the only font which could tell if it's official...the only contacts to Dragone's Group come from You! We thank you for the attention and we hope to receive news from you.

Thank you for your kind e-mail that has been forwarded to me by our Belgium office.

Yes, you are correct, the Celine DVD was initially due last fall but because of scheduling and further product releases by Celine it was decided to pick a time when it could be more effectively distributed to the world market. We are currently looking at the fall this year. As soon as there is any news it will be posted on the Celine and DRAGONE websites.

OKKKK, first of all SONY don't distribute effectively, so inbetween the lines this means never. Second: fall 2005 it's a long time for someone who's been waiting since november 2003 and been let down by nomerous phostponements. Third: fall ok, then what? A French best of, a Xmas CD??? Two more options for further postphonement. And I mean if the chanse come 1 to 10 002 039 000 that the DVD will be released this Christmas (after being postphoned again), will knock out the Xmas cd from the schedual and that will be the new thing we're gonna beg for? And which is going to be postphoned over and over again. Why does Céline fans have to be so greedy and un-thankful??? We're not, we're being made this way. If we could get the stuff we would so love to buy (which they said they were going to release in the first place then cancelled (we're not whining over fantasy stuff here and being demanding and generally unsatisfied)) we could actually rejoyce over the stuff they're realising, geniually. Not with a grunch of a history of nomerous postphonements nagging in the back of our heads.

And "waiting for the right time to distrubute". Like they're even gonna try promote it!! If they wanted to do that (and gain finansial profit as much as popular profit for Céline) they would had released another nights recordings on the CD, included The Power Of Love and I Surrender. Released a live single of the wasted hit I Surrender, (to save what can be saved) and make an enormous come back for Céline with a master hit that is exactly what people (non fans) want from her (not some trashy OH-dish) with this power ballad. And promote the CD, single AND DVD with a video of I Surrender live from A New Day - earth to people: wouldn't it be an obvious success?!

They're dealing with this very unproffesional and very poor. Think about other postphonements like 1 Fille et 4 types, Miracle and that silly lipsynced CBS special there's no use they're holding up infront of us than pull away, not worth dreweling over, besides everyone has it taped.

Frankly people, it would be nice to have the DVD, I mean really nice. There was a time I hoped in dispare. But now, it's simply not worth it. My fire for going to Vegas has been long ago put down by this. And the DVD wont be as enjoyable with all this negativeness on the path towards it. It will me more of a "Ya it's about time! And sure this is wonderful but it hurt a lot..." more than (if released earlier) " Gee Wis!!! What a thang! I love it!!! I want more more more more! Book the next flight to Vegas!!" Wont happen.

Happy now SONY? Satisfied are we?

i agree with you fred, BUT i have to add something.Although I understandwhy you feel it is not worth waiting for a DVD that was postphoned countless times, we the fans that are only dreaming of going to her show in Vegas still wait for this release...why? because as far as i am concerned, it is more likely for me to change my sex tahn to go to Vegas to see Celine.

for us this DVD is the only chance to at least make an idea of how it would have been to actually see the show live. :cry: it's sad but in my situation are many many many fans, not only from Romania, but generally from Europe...especially from the poor countries.

you know...hope dies last....and i still hope that someday they will release that DVD...or at least they should announce that it will never be released... :cry: :cry:

I am so sory to hear that

I know that for a countless amount of fans this DVD is the only way to get an idea of what A New Day is, that is why it is so sad that their hopes are let up and then let down over and over again.

Ok, first it was coming out in the fall, then Christmas, then January, and then something about a TV special in April/May... enough all ready! :confused1:

When are they going to tell us what's going on? :angry2:

I think we should all call Sony nonstop until we get some answers, because this is ridiculous! It's been about 6 months since it was originally supposed to be released! :glare:

I know you're all just as equally frustrated about this as I am, but I needed to vent some frustration! :wacko:
