Koolan Posted December 12, 2004 at 07:47 AM Posted December 12, 2004 at 07:47 AM Sometimes, credit cards are evil other times, it can be very useful I have 2 mastercards, 1 American Express, 1 American Eagle, and 1 Capital One Visa card. Having too many cards doesn't look good on the credit history I got suckered in to signing up for them while I was in college just cuz of the free gifts that I receive for doing so :specool: Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. SuperLove4Celine Posted August 5, 2006 at 06:56 AM Posted August 5, 2006 at 06:56 AM Oh brother, where do I begin on this topic? LOL! I have my Visa debit card from Bank of America, a Visa credit card from Bank of America, a Visa credit card from Chase/Amazon.com, and a MasterCard from USAA. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently got a new job and I'll be able to pay one of those cards off at the end of the month! YAY! Quote
catwomanrrr Posted August 5, 2006 at 07:26 AM Posted August 5, 2006 at 07:26 AM (edited) errrmmmm... I have tons! LOL I don't want to name them all, but I have Macys, Express, Bank of America, Capital One, American Eagle, etc. etc. I love to shop and I feel I am responsible enough to handle credit cards. Sometimes, THEY ARE evil, but if you use them responsibly and swipe when you can pay off the balance, then you're in for a good treat : GOOD CREDIT. Most of the cards have payments withdrawn directly from my bank account... so some of the money I make, I never get to even touch P.S. But truly, to build a good credit history, all you need is... ONE CARD LOL Edited August 5, 2006 at 07:26 AM by Joy Quote http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n28/rhymereason/dreambig.jpg

Cambroneroj Posted August 26, 2006 at 08:54 PM Posted August 26, 2006 at 08:54 PM AMERICAN EXPRESS is all i use i dont carry cash with me at all only AMEX. no interest but you have to pay it off at the end of the month. Quote
catwomanrrr Posted August 26, 2006 at 09:12 PM Posted August 26, 2006 at 09:12 PM But that's for most major credit cards for institutions and stores - no interest if you pay at the end of the month for the full balance. This is called the "grace period." I think it's always a good idea to carry a $20.00 bill and just one credit card with you at all times. winforlife Posted August 31, 2006 at 09:21 PM Posted August 31, 2006 at 09:21 PM I have a Chase Platinum Visa and Mastercard-good for points and paying for my daughter's college tuition . I have a debt card and have countless store credit cards which I don't use-Macy's, Bloomingdales,Sears,etc,etc...And of course gorcery store cards for discounts. My first credit card I applied for was in college with no credit history( Sears). Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v119/LKlafter1/1367035680_small.jpg
babymonkey Posted September 4, 2006 at 06:01 PM Posted September 4, 2006 at 06:01 PM I've got an MBNA platinum Visa. catwomanrrr Posted September 11, 2006 at 07:24 AM Posted September 11, 2006 at 07:24 AM I HATE HATE HATE CREDIT CARDS SOOOO MUCH!!!! As I said in a previous post... I've got quite a lot because I'm quite a spender. I won't even say how much I owe, because it's "head-shaking" . BUT I've got a plan and goal to pay them all off by the end of this year. And I'm excited to hopefully see my FICO and other credit scores Shoot Up! *sighhhhhhhssss Here's a tip for everybody. DO NOT CLOSE your credit card account. This will lower your credit score. Just keep it at $0.00 balance and monitor it month to month. So, literally, once you get a credit card, it's like having a child! Quote http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n28/rhymereason/dreambig.jpg
