Conversations With Celine

 

It was just three years ago when Celine Dion gave Access Hollywood's own Nancy O'Dell a few golf tips – of all places – aboard an aircraft carrier.

 

But now, Nancy sits down with Celine for another exclusive and very intimate conversation, where Celine which reveals a side of her life never before seen. But why now?

 

"Why did you decide to be so open and candid?" Nancy asked.

 

"I think mainly people think that everything for us is possible – that we have no problems. We have no wrinkles, we have no couple or family situations and that is not true," Celine explained. "If you ask [the fans] to come to your concert, if you ask them to buy you a new home, if you ask them to buy your record – they put me where I am. So I think they deserve to know what's going on out there."

 

And Celine is not only open to talking about her life, she has written it down for her fans in her new biography "For Keeps."

 

"You have been very open saying that you have a frozen embryo in New York and that you're going to go and have another baby," noted Nancy.

 

"I would love to. I just feel that this little baby is cold and wants a mommy to give him a hand and bring him into the sunshine but it doesn’t mean it works. Every time, it's like you try," Celine revealed. "It's something extraordinary that's given to us. But I won't leave it there. That is a sure thing."

 

"It is amazing what the technology can do," Nancy added.

 

"It's a little scary also when you go into the details. Some people are very against that and say it is not natural, that it is not nature, this is not life and all of that. So I do not want to hurt people's feelings with this, but honest truth is there is an embryo in New York," Celine replied. "They froze it and it is blastocyst -- that means it is five days old."

 

But what should happen if it happens naturally before then?

 

"That's fine. Take it all," Celine smiled.

 

"You'll have three, four, five kids?" Nancy followed up.

 

"No problem. My parents had 14. Bring it on," said Celine.

 

Celine would love to have an army of little ones, given the challenge she and her husband Renee experienced in conceiving their first son, Renee Charles.

 

The music superstar underwent in vitro fertilization to conceive, shortly after her husband was diagnosed with cancer.

 

"Did that play into it or was it just the right timing?" Nancy inquired.

 

"Both of us wanted to have this gift of life," Celine said. "He said maybe there was something to do about it…We were trying for six years and we couldn't. It didn't work. And then he got sick. We really thought that was going to be our final answer. And then they said it's not over until it's over. So we talked with professional people and more than one dream came true."

 

"Renee Charles?" asked Nancy.

 

"Renee Charles and my husband's health," Celine beamed.

If we all had this attitude then there'd be no videos left to download! Céline repeats herself all the time and we must like it because we download the videos with the same stories, anecdotes etc. That's just part of being a fan.
