I originally recorded that song a couple of years ago. I had taken part in Karaoke competition at a local bar and it was like their big summer competition. So they got local businesses to offer prizes, one of them being a guy who had his own recording studio offering a day in his studio and a cd for free. I didn't win the competition, it was won by the girlfriend of one of the judges! Anyway the guy who owned the studio preferred my performance and invited me to have a day in his studio (as well as the girl who won - she never claimed her prize!) So I got a day in the studio, I loved it! I didn't really have much time to spend on each song (I recorded three songs) so they all sound a bit raw to me. I guess maybe I'm too hard on myself, but the way I sound just isn't the way I want it to be. So I find it hard to listen to. Sometimes I wonder why other people think I sound really good, when I think I sound only just average! But it's still awesome to read things like that! lol!
