LOOK AT THIS: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=music&n=507846 It's the amazon page for "on ne change pas" there are 19 reviews and some are very very negative. It seems like it's a plot against céline. In fact, someone who write positive reviews on "on ne change pas" received nasty messages(first review i think)! So it's clear that the majority who wrote bad reviews are not fans , they haven't heard the best of and they hate simply céline. Moreover some people find these reviews very useful ! they are influenced by these reviews! So we have to help Céline : you have to write your reviews on amazon.com (even if you didn't buy the album there -you only have to suscribe it's free) It will only take you 5 minutes. Thanks! Quote

stevethefan Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 I also noticed some of the negative reviews on Amazon.com in the last few weeks regarding the new album and was mad about it. One person basically was saying how they did not like listening to all of the 'formula" type songs that documented her career and how they thought this was not a good way to jump start or help her career. For one thing, if Celine wanted to "jump start" her career I don't think she would put out an all French album in the U.S. I think it's was pretty risky/bold move for her to put out an all French album as she did since it has a very limited appeal, especially in the U.S. If she wanted to play it safe she would have introduced an English album, at least in North America since her sales would probably be higher. But I think it was time to put out an all french album that documented her french recordings up until this point in time. She may have also done this because since she is busy in Las Vegas she currently does not have time to record a brand new album. To be perfectly honest I'm suprised that I've seen this for sale in so many stores recently. The fact that it's an all french album means it may mostly sell to true Celine fans more than the average music listener. But those people on Amazon bought the album (hopefully) anyways, so they must like some of Celine's songs! Quote

jennyplym Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 yeah i have seen such reviews on amazon b4and have always been shocked and angered by them, i didnt really know if it was just because i am a HUGE fan myself. But after reading these ones i am just angry! lol i think this album is amazing, i love it. and i dont know if its just me but i love "i believe in you!" the Il Divo song! i think its dramtic and touching!some people just dont understand, "its a celine thing!" celine fans unite!!
