About being back in France

expecting this at all. I wanted to come back here to my home. I hope I

don't sound pretentious to say this (calling France her home) Everywhere

people were singing my songs, we share emotions together. I feel so

About the duet with Il Divo

"One day, not long ago, René asked me "Do you know Il Divo?" I told

him yes. My sister Manon who travels with me sometimes, loves them.

She says they are handsome, sing wonderfully. When I told her I was going

to have a duet with them she was like "No, it can't be true!!! You're gonna

sing a duet with them!" My sister was so nervous and of course I was so

happy. But I lived it in the distance. René contacted their manager and

after two free days I went into a studio and joined my voice to theirs. And

it's the first time I sing with them here in France"

 

About singing in different languages

I love very much to sing in different languages. I sang in German in my past,

I've sang in Japanese. I love to sing in different languages to reach the most

people. It's a part of me.

 

About René-Charles understanding who she is

 

I have to tell you I never forced anything and never pushed my son to be

on stage with me or even on backstage. I never imposed him anything.

And I never hide him of course because I'm his mother. We have the

chance to live this life and we assume it what me are and we absolutely

assume the pleasure of our lives. But as his parents we want him to realise

who he is. He must assume that his parents are known people. This means

my son must live things that are not really normal.

 

About working again with Goldman in a near future

 

I really want it, for sure. We have nothing planned yet, no dates and no

songs. I can't tell anything because we have nothing concrete right now.

But I want it and I can tell you I'd love to work again with Jean-Jacques

and his partners, the extraordinary people with whom he works.

 

About singing in French

 

Singing in French for me it's... my roots, my blood, it's what I love the

most.

 

How it was for René-Charles moving to Vegas.

 

When we moved to Vegas he was not 2 years old yet. He had to go through some little things through the things I was living. Every time we had to sing in a birthday or when there were cameras he lived it inside himself and he did not know how to live it and he would cry many times. I was worried as a singer and mostly as a mother to see my son crying. And one day someone told me "you are very lucky because your son live things inside of himself. Children are great persons."

I was watching the videos on Cherie FM website. My internet is so stupid right now I can't even see the images of it, I only listen... barely listen. So I noticed that again, something she said on the video did not made the radio cut.

 

 

- She talks about meeting René when she was 12. He sacrified everything for her because he was in love with their dream

 

 

- She talked about the Eurovision and she told she is glad she didn't have to choose a country to represent between Switzerland and France

 

 

-And here she talked about her free time.

 

"I rest a little everyday because I have a 4 and a half year old boy. It

relaxes my voice. It fulfils me, it relaxes me, it refreshes me, it gives a

balance to my life. I'm so happy for having me. I thought for many years

that I wouldn't have it and I told myself I can't complain, I have an

extraordinary life. If it's not supposed to happen to me, it's ok. But as a

singer and as a woman, I wished I could be a mother one day. I can say

now that I have everything. I don't want to let it go so these emotions are

so close to me. Being a mother is the greatest gift. Yes I love to sing, I

share emotions through my music. So everyday before the concerts I

spend my time with my husband and my son. Sometimes when I'm on

vacations I take some time to record some French songs or English songs. I

take these hours to continue, between concerts and being at home doing

some “bricolage”, we cook, we bake cakes, we discover life. But in the

meanwhile I take some time to send you my message"

 

 

 

- And this one tells about the nigth RC went to see her show. You HAVE TO READ THIS, your heart will melt!!!!

 

When he was only 4 we took him to Caesars' Palace backstage. We

would love for him to watch the show but we never pushed him too. And

then one day when he was only 4, 10 minutes before I left for my show he

told me "Mommy I wanna watch the show" and I told him "Oh yes but...

what show?" I was so naive asking this but there are so many shows in

Vegas. And he told me "Your show, mommy" and I told him "I'm very happy, mon petit lapin (this means my little rabbit. Isn't it so cute?). When do you want to see the show" and he told me "Tonight." I didn't want to tell him "YES!!!!" and make a big deal out of it. So I told him "Ok, go get dressed, we're leaving home in 10 minutes."

 

I went to my room and I just couldn't believe my son wanted to see my show tonight. It was like a blessing, I could not believe it. To make a long story short, we were on the road and I was talking to my son about the sound checks and I told him "It will take long, sometimes it takes one hour and a half. I'm not gonna sing only I'm alive and I drove all night. If it takes too long, if you want to go out you just ask your godmother and you go out." And he looked at me as if saying "I'm 4 years old, I'm a big boy, I'm in charge".

 

Ten minutes before the show he wished me "Have a good show, mommy" And I realised, I have done almost 400 shows and I just realised that it meant so much for me to have my son there. I started the show with the biggest smile that a mom can have on her face. I could see his blonde hair, he was right in front of me and by the end of the show I went there to give the rose that I give every night. He jumped to my arms. We left the stage. We never talked about it anymore.

But on that night my son accepted me. He had accepted me as mother since the first day. But he now accepted me as a singer, like "mommy, I accept you just as you are. I realise what you are accept you and share you with 4100 every night." It was a very emotional for me.
