The interview was too much fun but some of the jokes I just don't get. 4 people speaking at the same time and laughter... And some things make sense in french but not in english so I did not know who to translate it was so hard Anyways I have here a little translation, not 100% but enough for you to get the point. It looks a mess LOL They started joking about JNVOP and told her: "Since you said you don't forget us, what's our names?" LOL She joked about it but I didn't get it... the joke She said that the last interview she did in France 3 years ago was for NRJ. She talked about being back in France. "It's very touching. When we left the airport, we got on the road to the hotel and I had my son with me. He is 4 years and a half, the last time he had come he was very little, he won't remember it. I passed by Stade de France, I had my husband and my son on the car. We were watching the cars on the road.So we saw Stade de France and I hold "René-Charles, mommy has perfomed here." He looked at me and he asked "What happens inside there?" and I told him "Football matches." When we got to the hotel there were people waiting for us and I told myself "This is not possible! " The fans were there! I was so emotional, I was very happy, I lived the best moments ever here, the most emotional. I have a bond with you here, a very particular one. I missed you, I'm so happy to be here, my son is happy to be in Paris, I'm very happy. " They asked: "How many pairs of shoes you need to live in Vegas?" LOLOL She joked, asking where do they get those questions LOL "I don't know, every year I tell myself: I have everything. At every season I tell myself: I'm sure I have everything. I have the bag, the boots, the shoes, I have everything, I don't need anything else. But every time I ask: what I need more? We think we have everything, I had bought everything for the season, spent so much money, I everything for summer, it's over. I bought a few things, it's what I need, it's ok." They joked about it, they say the designers need to draw new fashion because Celine already has it all. "That's the problem. Have you seen the boots this year? It's all about the boots. Yesterday I was wearing jeans and had boots until (I think she was showing the size of the boots on her leg) This gotta stop, boots until here is crazy" They joked again: Now that you have so many shoes I have to start buying feet LMAO AT THIS ONE. They asked if she would go back again to the opening act of Patrick Sebastien. "Absolutely. I don't regret anything. " They asked her to judge a girl performing. They gave played a clip of a girl singing All by myself, a very awful performance and asked Celine to judge it. "I would tell her to choose a song which would give her the chance to perform at her best. Singing and having a beautiful voice it's not everything. I need to have a personality and charisma. You need everything, not just the "Anymooooooooooooooooooooore" You need everything: The hard work, the voice, the charisma... There is something else than that (just the voice) I think that the vocal talent just counts 20% of it." The guys made a joke that again I did not get (I HATE not being fluent in french) They asked her if she knows the CSI experts LMAO LMAOShe sang the song LOL "No... I work, you know... " The said they need to put a TV on her stage so she can watch CSI. And she was joking about beeing on stage watching TV:"How are you doing tonight...." and starts singing the CSI song LOLOL "On ne change pas on met juste les yeux sur le moniteur juste lá" "We don't change, we just put the eyes on the TV screen right there" They are asking questions with quebec slang or traditional expressions. For her to translate it.I definately don't get it, way too hard for my poor french. And the funniest thing, Celine said she has never heard some of it LMAOThe point is: this is just funny for french speakers so if it's translate it will not make much sense and won't be fun... They offered chocolates to celine and she was eating it LOL"I can't speak right now" she was speaking with her mouth full of chocolate. LOLOLThey joked about her singing a song now and she did "All by myself Anymore LOL" still eating chocolate and she sang something way too funny from Switzerland LMAO because of the chocolates. They asked her what do they need to do to make her go to france more often... They asked her if they need to build Vegas inside of Paris and replace stuff with slot machines. She said not and they joked "We'll giver her chocolate" to make her come back They sing: We never forget you, no never LOL She goes like: OHHHHHHHHHHHHH... It's so nice. She said: "I comes from the heart. I even pound my chest" LMAO Then they performed that song. I did not get the lyrics, only the final words that someone already posted. Mozinha Posted October 15, 2005 at 11:29 AM Posted October 15, 2005 at 11:29 AM (edited) When I watched the video I realised she said more stuff that they cut from the interview So here goes a quick update from the stuff we've seen on the video but not on the audio file. -When they showed the clip of the girl singing badly, everyone was laughing but Celine did not laugh, which was really nice of her. Very very nice. -She said that All by myself is a very hard song to sing, not everyone can do it, she couldn't do it in the begining but just because you can't sing that song it doesn't mean you are not a good singer. -She agrees with René when he tells that the voice only counts 20% to be a good singer. -She feels thankful for all the people who wrote her french songs because she doesn't write her songs and she was so lucky to have them writting beautiful songs for her. -She loves to dedicate her new album to RC. She says he does not get how important this is because he is just a little boy but one day he will listen to it and see where she came from, what she did for 25 years. -She wants him to know that one day she performed those songs and even thought he was not born yet, she already dreamed of having him. She wants him to go back to Paris one day with his own family and remember it, her songs, what the accomplished and see her statue at the Grevin Museum -All her family is happy to be in Paris, René feels very happy to be there again. Those people in France at the Stade de France in 1999 really helpded and encouraged him back to health and he is very happy to be there again and feel their energy again.
