RESUME :Sous la houlette de Daniela Lumbroso, les artistes emblématiques de la variété française se réunissent de nouveau sur le plateau du «Symphonic show» pour célébrer la fin de l'année. Accompagnés, comme à l'accoutumée, par l'orchestre Night of the Proms, ils interprètent les chansons de leurs idoles. Invitée principale de ce divertissement, Céline Dion chante ce soir deux titres de son album best-of, sorti en août 2005 : une reprise du «Blues du businessman», de Luc Plamandon et Michel Berger, extrait de «Starmania», et avec le groupe Il Divo, «I believe in you». Parmi les autres vedettes, Marc Lavoine rend hommage à Serge Gainsbourg avec «La Javanaise» et Dany Brillant à Frank Sinatra avec «Fly me to the moon» ; Chimène Badi chante «Je te promets», clin d'oeil à son duo avec Johnny ; Olivia Ruiz reprend la «Jolie môme» de Léo Ferré et Bénabar «Je m'voyais déjà» de Charles Aznavour ; Florent Pagny interprète «Nessun Dorma», extrait de «Turandot», de Puccini ; Lââm, «Maniac», et Smaïn, «Les grands boulevards». Sont également présents Patricia Kaas, Marilou et Chico & les Gypsies, Amel Bent, Hélène Ségara, Laurent Gerra et Julio Iglesias.

They showed an extract already. I haven't watched it but from what the others say she didn't quite hit the first note on "j'aurais voulu être un Artiste" - as soon as she wanted to hit the A-vowel she lost the track a lil. NOT MUCH. It was supposedly less apparent than her false note on the Junos 99 but it still proves how hard the song live is. She still HIT IT but not as perfect. It was better than the Junos, of course - at least this one note.

 

Oh and they showed some seconds of the ending of the song. They say she sounded bombastic.
