The best I have heard her since I have no idea when!!!

 

This was her best version of PQTME live since 1996's WMAs. Holy GRAIL!!!!! Wish it was solo, though... How can she be in such an amazing vocal shape?!?!?!?!? I thought she's be in an amazing shape but not BY FAR NOT AS MUCH!!! LOL!

Thank you for all the pictures! I didn't watch the interview, but I was upset when she began to cry at the beginning of Star Academy. I found she was very nice on stage, especially when she gave her micro to a student whose micro was off.

I've watched the news and here goes a very quick translation.

 

It was mostly what she said on the other interview I translated.

- She loves France very much

- She is very emotional because of the fans and the people who have been around her these days, singing with her, applauding and following her.

- She is very emotional to return to France with her son, she feels like she is rediscovering Paris and she is happy to show everything to RC

- She was very emotional to show RC where is Stade de France

- She says JNVOP are for the fans who are her family. Although she can't visit them as much as she would love, she loves them and never forgets them.

- She can't wait to tour France. She says she doesn't know when but she is sure she will do it. She really wants it, it's for her own pleasure to sing those songs for her fans.

- She says this album is all 25 years of her life in songs.

I tried to make a translation of Celine's interview (TF1, 7th october, 2005). I hope you'll understand better what did Celine tell us in French...

 

Claire Chazal says that Celine is a world's citizen, but at the same time she has lots of fans around her (in front of her hotel) when she comes in France... So, "do you like France?"

C.Dion: A lot. It's very touching to come back here. The welcome of the people is extraordinary. I must say that I didn't expect nothing, because it's like if it was yesterday. Even if I didn't come back here for 3 years... I'm very touched by the welcome of the fans who sing my songs; above all I'm with my son, René-Charles (4 years 1/2). I discover some places again. We saw the Stade de France and I told him : "Have a look! That's where Mum sang". I was very moved. I'm so glad to be here.

C. Chazal: So Celine, this is also the occasion to discover this new album which is a compilation of your most famous french songs with four new ones, like Je Ne Vous Oublie pas. To who this song is dedicated?

C. Dion: With Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas, it's like if I had written a letter, a message to the french and the people of Quebec, my family actually; that I'm far, that I don't come as often as I would like to, but that I often think of you. I'm so glad to be here.

C. Chazal: We know that you live and work in Las Vegas until 2007. Isn't it too much long to stay there, in this "bubble" of Las Vegas?

C. Dion: I must say to you that it's a choice. So I try to respect my commitment. A choice for my family. Not only as a singer. I think sincerely that we have a great show, that's I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to do that. But I have also the chance of coming back home every evening. It's a choice for my son, above all for his first years, but I must say to you that I miss you all the same. Really.

C. Chazal: There may be a tour in France. Maybe you have some dates planned?

C. Dion: you can't imagine Claire how I wish this tour! To hear these songs again. To hear these 20-25 years of musical life again... This album is the 25 years of my musical life, in fact. But I don't know when... I have 2 years 1/2 In Las Vegas to achieve, about 300 shows to achieve. So I don't want to give you some dates, but I wish to myself to come back here for my own happiness, out of love.
