Céline's Blues Posted October 4, 2005 at 08:19 PM Posted October 4, 2005 at 08:19 PM In comparison to e.g. Ciara, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey or Britney Spears I think Céline has the gift of amazing (and sometimes really hella crazy) stage presence. The way she commands the public, the stage and the atmosphere is truly something special. And she not only can sing live better than on the CD by giving the songs more life and vibrancy...the best thing is she often, very very often LOOSES herself and just LETS the DAM THANG FLOW. And that is what I am fan of. At the very moment when she's on stage she doesn't care a silicon mushroom how is she looking like or how she is sounding for that matter - she just sings out loud, showing off the rawness. Couldn't say if the other artists are not as good or come near though cause I haven't seen them (didn't feel the need with Céline around! LOL). And I don't mean on TV because you all know very well that to see someone in the flesh gives that TRUE vibrancy. Or not... Only one I can vouch for is Bryan Adams. I've seen alot of people in concert, so I can only put Celine with very few people. I would also put Clay and Kelly in there because if you've ever seen them, they are awesome live. Kelly is really responsive to the audience, as well as Clay. And Clay live, is just . I've never seen Brian Adams, but I almost had the chance a few years ago and opted out.
