The Canadian and Quebec Breast Cancer Foundations, Hudson’s Bay Company (Hbc), Simon Chang and Celine Dion have teamed up for a second year to produce a woman’s, and a new men’s polo shirt with net proceeds benefiting breast cancer research, and national education and community awareness programs.

 

“I was honoured”, said Simon, “to be asked again to create a new design due to the overwhelming success of last year. We were so thrilled that Celine, our Canadian icon, offered her support again. The polo has the signature touch designed for real people. These pink polo shirts will be available starting October 1, 2005 at Hbc banner stores across Canada at a cost of $24.99.”

 

In 2005, an estimated 21,600 women and 150 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and it will impact an extended circle of their families, friends and colleagues. The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation are grateful for the commitment of their partners Hbc and Simon Chang, who believe “caring is always in fashion”.

 

Both Foundations will profile the Simon Chang polo on their web site. As a member of the fashion community, Simon is asking for your support to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

 

Since this polo shirt is exclusive to Hbc, your friends and family can purchase them at all Hbc banner stores. For the month of October, “think pink” “think Simon Chang polo” “think Breast Cancer Awareness”.
