New English Album?

There will surely be an English album. Just think of D'eux and Falling Into You, or S'il Suffisait D'Aimer, Let's Talk About Love and These Are Special Times. They were recorded within one year. So just because she will release a French album doesn't mean there won't be an English one, and with the little time she has in Vegas, I think they could record both albums at the same time. I just hope her next English album will be 100% new material, no recycled songs anymore

Not really. She released one or two albums per year since 2002. Exactly like she did in the 90ies. Also, it is time for a new English album since the last ones were mostly unnoticed by a greater audience. The last time an English album got a decent reception was for A New Day Has Come. Like I said in another topic, Miracle had good production, well her voice wasn't in top shape, but it had some potential hits, but if you promote an album with cheesy photos, no wonder it doesn't work. I bet they sold more calendars than album copies.

It's also clear they don't release a French album every year. Celine is an international star, and you can't promote her worldwide with French music. That is just something she likes to do, because she has this special relation with Quebec and France. The new French album will be great, but I also want a good new English album.

Try to don't forget that her native speaking language is french and consider her english albums as bonus. Her roots are in Quebec, a deep french culture area.

If she does english albums it's only because it's fun for her to sing in english... And I'd like to add that if she decided to sing in english, it was because she dreamed of an international career. Now she has nothing to prove any more.

I think it's more because she has a contract with an international record company and with English she can reach more people, or better say she could if they promoted her right

i am happy about french album but i want english!!!
