Reality shows

There are many reality shows that are on television. What do you guys think about reality shows? Which ones do you follow? I think some reality shows are very interesting and fun to watch while the others are dumb and a waste of time. I used to watch Who Wants to be a Millionaire when it first came out. These days, I watch Fear Factor. Some parts of it are really gross, lol but I get a kick out of watching people eat bugs and worms.

I watch FearFactor every once in a while.. those people are nuts, but brave!! LOL

Just American Idol, The Real World, and some others. But not a lot of Reality TV. It's kind of getting on my nerves.

Here in Italy people go crazy for reality shows. <_<

 

The main ones are Grande Fratello (Big Brother) and L'Isola Dei Famosi (a sort of survivor with VIP's).

I agree that they should cut down on the number of reality shows. Some are just stupid and annoying, lilke Desperate Housewifes. One thing is for sure, they are here to stay.

There're tons of Idol shows in China years ago. almost every channel has its own Idol show. very annoy.

Actually, first it was "pop Idol" which was shown in the UK. Simon Cowell was one of the original judges, and went across to America to judge American Idol after the UK sold the Idea to the American network. So you have to blame the UK for all that I'm afraid! I love reality TV shows, they are so addictive! I'm really into the UK show "I'm a celebrity... get me out of here!" Where 10 celebrities go into the Australian jungle to survive apalling conditions, face horrendous challenges, and ultimately, be voted out by the public when they become too unpopular! If at any time they decide they can't take the conditions anymore they have to say "I'm a celebrity... get me out of here!" And they are allowed out of the jungle camp and back to the luxury they are accustomed to. It's great watching them suffer, and a big chunk of the money raised by the public votes goes towards the Celebrities' charities.

In my country reality shows have no impact on people,every one avoid them.As long as you go out on the street and see the same things as in the TV they find it more interesting to watch a movie,the news or something else.

Maybe it sound more or less stupid but in my opinion watching reality shows is a wasting of time.

I hardly watch tv and when I do it's probably only movies on TBS or Fear factor and I love the Travel Channel such a dork!
