Welcome to the Celine Channel "For Keeps" Promotional Giveaway! Five lucky winners will receive an autographed copy of the upcoming biography, "For Keeps" signed by Celine Dion!! Only the English version will be given out. All members could particpate in this contest. It is easy, fair and random; doesn't require any skill, everyone has an equal chance of winning. Please read the following carefully:

 

The object of the game is to guess the TOTAL number of Unique members (NOT including guests) that visited this forum in a given day from 12AM - 12AM Eastern Standard Time ( GMT -5:00 ). The person with the closest number wins. Read on...

 

We will randomly pick 5 days for the contest, to be announced later. Members will have 5 chances to win the book!! Members will have at least one week to write their numbers on the topic created for that contest date.. Continue to the procedures to enter the contest...

 

Step 1: Each member will pick 10 random numbers ranging from 1 - 100. You are allowed to repeat any number.

Step 2: Add all 10 numbers together to get the total number. This will be your potential winning number.

Step 3: Reply to the appropriate topic (NOT THIS TOPIC) with all 10 numbers and the total number.

Step 4: That's it, you're all set. We'll announce the winning number and the winner after the contest day is over.

 

If no member's number match the winning number, the member with the closest number wins. Moreover, if there are more than one member with the same winning number, the member whom posted their numbers earlier is the winner.

 

Example #1:

John Doe enter his numbers as:

 

30, 33, 32, 40, 45, 37, 48, 50, 40, 39 = 394

 

Let's say there were 394 members that visited the forum that day. John Doe could win in 2 ways:

 

1) He is the ONLY member with 394.

OR

2) Michael also put down 394 but John Doe posted his numbers earlier than Michael.

 

Example #2:

Mary Jane enter her numbers as:

 

35, 48, 32, 45, 35, 35, 37, 42, 44, 36 = 389

 

Let's say there were 420 members that visited the forum that day. Mary Jane could win in 2 ways:

 

1) She had the ONLY number that was closest to 420.

OR

2) Rene puts down 451 but Mary Jane posted her numbers earlier than Rene.

This is basically a guessing game. The contest is very easy to enter, don't be confused because there are a lot of stuff written. We are planning to give away 1 copy of the book in September, 2 in October, and the final 2 in November. The dates will be announced later, stay tuned!

 

After December 1st, all 5 winner's personal information will be sent to the publicist. They will then have Celine sign the books and mail them directly to each winner. I hope the explanation of the contest is clear to everyone. Do let me know if there are any questions. Good luck to everyone!

• Persons found to be registering more than one name to enter the contest will be disqualified and prize forfeited (if applicable). Moreover, the member(s) will be put on the Hall of Shame. No second chances, do not take the risk!
   
  
• In the event that multiple members have the same "winning" number, the person which posted their numbers earlier wins. Post your numbers as early as possible.
   
  
• You are responsible for adding up all 10 numbers correctly.
   
  
• After the topic is locked, you cannot request to change your numbers.
