Las Vegas 8-27-05

Hey everyone!

Well I just go home from my Vegas adventure. I had a blast! I'll put together a small review a little later, but I will give you one bit of information now...

I was waiting for Marisa and Cathy to come out of the show on Saturday and I was sitting on the steps to the colosseum looking for anyone I might recognize (Rene, Michel...) and I look over and RENE comes walking right by me!!! He was walking really fast, probably to make it inside before the show ended. I jumped up and ran over to the door but by the time I got there he was gone :down: . So I didn't actually get to meet him but I did get to see him pretty close up and he looked soooooooo good :wub: I looked for him later that night and the next day too but I never saw him again.

Guess I'll have to work on my reflexes before I go back in December because there is no way I'll let him get away again. :innocent:

When I saw Rene I was so intimidated (sp) by his presence that I could not say a single word..lol Hahaha i'm so shy! LOL *shame on me* lol

Here is my "short" review. Somehow it turned out to be not so short.

Ok…So about a week ago Marisa calls me and tells me that she & Cathy are going to Vegas on her birthday and asks if I would like to join them. Immediately I’m like, YES!!! :w00t: But then I remember that I have all these things going on at work so I would have to come up late on Saturday instead of going with them on Friday. O.K. so its Saturday and I’m already a little bummed out that I couldn’t be there earlier with them and them Marisa calls to tell me that they are seeing the show and they got 1st row tickets!!! :shocking: I couldn’t believe it, I wanted to be there with them sooooooo bad. Anyway I end up getting into Vegas at 9:00pm, check into the hotel and since I knew I still had time to kill, I went on a hunt to find a florist so that I could surprise Marisa with a bunch of balloons for her birthday. Well I couldn’t find a place to get them anywhere, I even asked people if they could tell me where to go but nobody seemed to know, which surprised me because I would think that a lot of people in Vegas would want to buy flowers and balloons.

After I finally decided to give up my search I sat on the steps of the colosseum to wait. That’s when I saw Rene! :wub: He rushed by me looking all kinds of sexy in his light blue striped shirt and black pants. :wub: :wub: Inside of me I started freaking out, I thought my heart was going to explode in my chest. So I ran after him but unfortunately I couldn’t catch up, so I went back to my place on the steps. :down: Finally the show ended, they came out and we all went over to see if we could get some of the dancers to sign a program for this adorable little girl that Marisa knew. It was really cool to watch the dancers interact with the girl, they were all so nice.

The next day we just hung out all day, sat by the pool for a little while and just relaxed. Then I decided that I wanted to try to see the show that night. So I go to get tickets and I end up getting Orch. 4 Row JJ. The seats were a little further back that I would have liked but since it was a spur of the moment thing I really wasn’t expecting to get anything closer. Once I get inside I sat there looking around (yes I was trying to spot Rene :blushing: ) and listening to other peoples conversations. I always think it is funny to hear other people talking about Celine or the show because they all think that they know so much about it but usually their information is wrong. :rolleyes1:

Before the show started, while they were scanning the camera over the audience, I could hear Celine and the dancers backstage cheering and laughing and I was sure the show as going to be amazing. But when Celine came out and began singing the crowd seemed dead. As the show went on, Celine was flawless as usual but the audience refused to participate. During I’m Alive nobody clapped, after each song very few people cheered, everyone just sat there. :evil: Celine announced that the show was the 400th show and gave a speech about what an honor it has been to perform for us every night. :clap:

A little later when Celine introduced the band and singers, the audience acted as if nobody really cared. When the screen showed a close up of Celine’s face you could see the disappointment on her face. I felt so bad for her, because she was in an amazing mood in the beginning but as the night went on she looked as if she had lost hope. :cry: I tried my very hardest to make sure she knew that there were some of us in the audience who really wanted to be there. I screamed my heart out (which is why my voice is shot today), every opportunity I had I would yell and tell her I loved her but I don’t think it really helped. On a positive note, at the end of MHWGO the audience decided to give her the respect and attention that she deserves and stood to give her a very long standing ovation. When I left the colosseum, I was filled with such mixed emotions. On one hand I was furious with the audience for not showing Celine that they wanted to be there, but on the other hand I felt so sad for both Celine and the dancers. All I could think about is how much I can’t wait for the convention so that Celine can really know how much she is adored. :in_love:

A few minutes later Cathy, the little girl from the day before and I all went over to try and get more autographs and pictures from the dancers and musicians. I was able to meet so many of them this time and I saw some of the same ones as before. The adorable Aaron :in_love: remembered me from when I was there in July, which was so cute. I also got to meet all of the musicians this time including Mego. Mego is so nice; he talked to Cathy for quite a while.

Overall my trip was such a blast. I’m so excited to go back in December, it just seems like it is so far away.

I heard rumor that he was staying in the penthouse at the casino while his brother was in town. I thought about marching right up there, knocking on his door and saying "hey sexy, wanna invite me in for a drink" :mwah: but I'm a good girl :innocent: :rolleyes:

May I say that first row center was ORGASMIC!!! And uh..... let's just say I screamed like crazeh that night.,.... and uh... ya know Celine and I we ghot this "thing" going now!! :blushing:

Yeah, Mego was great!!! We talked for like 5 minutes or so! I also talked to a few of the dancers for quite some time and they were real nice peeps.

Poor Céline...

But it's a part of her job to deal with it. If you read her bio you'll know she has been through worst situations. I love to read about her concerts in her early carreer. She had a nerve I wouldn't have.

Even so it must be very frustrating...

I bet the other nights will be so much better!
