Yes, they seem quite happy. And yes, okay, they duet beautifully (once again) on “Like We Never Loved At All,” from her new Warner Bros. album, Fireflies. But however close Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are as a couple—and that would apparently be just a tad closer than post-honeymoon Chesney/Zellweger, if you believe the rumors—Hill stands on her own as an artist.

That assertion has been validated in the marketplace over the past seven days, and as the tallying of retail reports continues this morning, it looks like Fireflies will take Hill and her reinvigorated country sensibilities to the top of this week’s chart, as predicted, with a first-week total of just about 300k.

I like Faith Hill. Not as much as I use to. She was the first concert, I went to...which was probably 1998. During the time, "This Kiss" was really popular. My friend sent me a few mp3's of her new album. I'm not crazy about it. "Paris" is probably the best of them,in my opinion.

Faith Hill's return to her country roots earns the songstress her third No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with "Fireflies." Her sixth effort for Warner Bros. Nashville sold 329,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and is also her third album to top Billboard's Top Country Albums list. Lead single "Mississippi Girl" is No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

 

Hill's most recent studio sets, 2002's "Cry" and 1999's "Breathe," debuted at No. 1 with sales of 472,000 and 242,000 units, respectively. She has to-date U.S. album sales of 16 million.

yes i do like faith hill she has some really nice songs out there,and i enjoy listening to them!!! i don't think i have heard her new album but i will have to check it out some time.......

I love Faith so much. I think, truly, she's my #2 female singer after Celine. Her voice is just so powerful and full, I love it. I love her albums, but Cry was her weakest effort(I still like it, though). Fireflies was great and I loved Joy to the World. I'm so excited for her next album, it's supposed to be really soulful.

Faith Hill is absolutely my second favourite artist too after Céline!!

 

I have 7 albums of hers, and my favourite of them must be Cry. Breathe and Fireflies are great as well! I'm looking forward to her next album as well, though I haven't heard anything about it, when is it supposed to be out?

Then, I would so much like to see her in concert, but I doubt she'll ever come to Finland since she isn't that well known here I think.

I lovelovelove her I saw her and Tim twice, Soul2Soul II and Soul2Soul 2007 - the first time I had fifth row and I ended up going to the preshow VIP party so I was literally about a foot from her...I tell people I could see the sparkle on her lipgloss:

That would be my head and Faith right there lol. I got to talk to her a little bit too, she's super sweet.

 

Fireflies is probably my favorite album. I don't care too much for her older stuff, but I know basically every song off Fireflies and Cry.

I really love Faith Hill! Cry and Fireflies are definatly my fav albums! when Cry came out, I thought it was Céline at first! Her older albums have some great songs, but I don't like them all. Her Christmas Album kinda disappointed me, it's a bit over the top, but I do love A Baby Changes Everything. Lost from her GH album is also amazing!
