Il nuovo pianeta, conosciuto come 2003UB313, è stato identificato come l'oggetto più distante in orbita intorno al Sole, ha detto l'astronomo del California Institute of Technology Michael Brown. La procedura per l'approvazione della scoperta del nuovo pianeta non è molto chiara, dal momento che nessun nuovo corpo celeste è stato indicato come pianeta del Sistema Solare dopo la scoperta di Plutone nel 1930, ha detto Brown Chissà come lo chiameranno.
