celine said that this song is the most dance that celine never recorded. celine holds a twelve second anthentic note that puts the "d" in diva. An unquestionable single. AMAZING.. i loved it when celine always give her skill in singing. No one other singer can doing this better than celine's.

And she rise the highest I'd ever listened, and Im not talking in whisper way like mariah, I mean in real voice, in spanish is called "voz de pecho", and she rise a "G", a "Sol",not even christina aguilera, nor monica naranjo

its one tone higher than "All bymyself" highest note. Celine eis just amazing!"

Isn't the version on ANDHC the original and the version on OH the remix? I remember something like that I've read on the forum... I remember I was "shocked" because usually the uptempo, dance songs are usually the remixes.

well it definatly hasn't been recorded later... because the vocals are the same! She didn't record it twice! The only logical explination I have, is that the '2003' version was the orginal, but they decided to remix it (when has it ever happened that a fast song, was later mixed to a slow song? ) and the fact that it's called 2003 doesn't mean a thing! :msn-wink:

Please... Once and again. The ORIGINAL version is the ANDHC version. REMIX doesn't mean "fast version"! It means NEW MIX. Doesn't matter if it's fast or slow... So, "Sorry for love" is a FAST DANCE song, that they turn in SLOW version for OH. So, the remix is the OH version... Edited by Nando Férri

the album version it's not the one on ANDHC it's remix

it confirmed by passion celine's web master, he always can listen to the album first and things anyway he said that on OH it's the original version, on ANDHC it's remix

but i have to say the remix it's good !!

also someone said about remix.. there's remixes of ANDHC and they make it sound slow... which doesn't really fit the remix and it's strange though, only radio remix is cool..

well the radio remix was recorded 'up beat' they didn't turn the album version into a radio mix... the vocals aren't the same :thumbsup2: there are also remixes of the album version, and the radio mix, so that's why some are slow, and other more upbeat :flowers:

Hi, I was just wondering - why is the 2002 version of the song artificially lengthened with a long note in "sorryyyyyy", and in the 2003 version (which is the original version), is the note original? Was it a production trick for the remix, or did they want to "prove" that Celine had to do such a long note (when we all know she could do it without the trick in the studio)?

Were both versions created simultaneously, or was the first original version, someone remixed it and they liked it?

---

Also, how many songs were recorded for the 2002 album and then reused? Or was most of the album recorded and discarded and the 2003 album is just an "addendum" from the 2002 album?

that was a common thing with remixes back in the day...

Whitney Houston's "It's not right, but it's okay" also have an absurd lengthened long note in the remix version...

from the 2002 sessions, she recorded: Coulda Woulda Shoulda, All Because Of You, and Miracle (that was called Who Could Ever Love You More)...

rumor says she recorded 30 songs...

Yes, this is something very common, many remixes of many artists have this kind of vocals that are multiplied, made longer. You play with one single note and make it last very long by repeating it.

But when you think of it, Céline did not record her famous high note for "Sola Otra Vez", she starts singing "Sin amor" and then it's mixed with the end of the take of the original version "anymoooooooooooore".
