Another Christmas video today. Im happy BUT : 2 english videos. Nothing in french.. this is bringing fire to those here in Quebec saying she is american now and forgot her roots..

It was recorded on the same day as the Thanksgiving message, same hair and pose, just different clothes... Nothing exciting tbh

Damn… it seems she filmed this back in October with the Thanksgiving videos. I think the grinch video was actually filmed a couple days prior. I like she’s her give messages but at the same time the way thy maw her use a teleprompter, perfect lighting and schedule all of the messages does feel forced.

 

We got to see the BTS of how she does a social media post in the documentary IACD, thy literally bring a crew into her home with a teleprompter, and a lighting beam LOL. I wish they show us more authentic content from her life once and in a blue moon at least.

Gotta say I’m shocked by how people here reacted to her new Christmas message. I mean, at least she gave us a Christmas message and even that Grinch parody video this year regardless of when she filmed it. Remember last year when she didn’t give any Christmas message and everyone here went crazy and started to speculating things like if she’s too sick to record a message etc.

The grinch one was funny.

 

Today’s although appreciated was very mechanical.

 

But it’s the New Years message I always look forward to most.

I just wonder what is going on in their mind. She hasn't officially reached out to us since almost 2 years after breaking the news of a serious illness, promising to be back on stage and then going totally silent, and then she dresses as Grinch for a holliday message like nothing ever happened and acts funny. I don't think it's normal and I just don't get it... Maybe someone wo gets their logic can enlighten me Edited by ryba

Make up looks the same to me and the hair. I just took off a watch and put on a bracelet in under 7 seconds. ;)

Yeah, same make up and hair doesn’t mean that it was filmed in the same day. It’s just like saying that Live in Boston and Live in Montreal (Taking Chances Tour) were filmed in the same day because the hair, make up, and outfits were the same.

All due respect, fans have every right to be pissed off. It’s not blamed on Celine personally. Her team and management are the ones we are having issues with.

 

You really shouldn’t be telling fans to “not let the door hit them”, we can’t afford to lose any more fans or interest if she ever does return due to the idiotic team.

 

I’m not saying you’re wrong but I really hate when certain fans attack others who speak up when they don’t like something, precisely on a forum that was meant for discussion. It’s the reason this place exists, otherwise, we’d be talking about what? The fact that Celine didn’t want to record MHWGO but she’s glad Rene insisted?

And even that new show or album won’t please everyone, that’s just the way it is. Bottom line is you can never make everyone happy all the time, but it doesn’t make them any less of a fan to speak how they feel. Sometimes your biggest fans are also your biggest critic, nothing wrong with that. Regardless, 99.9% of the moaning is towards her team and honestly the team deserves even more hate than what they are getting. I think it’s the worst team of any legend status artist in history.

I think it’s just time to accept that nothing is going to happen right now. We all know her team is terrible. There are thousands of pages on this very forum dedicated to that specific topic. It’s more nauseating to read now than it is her team sitting stagnant at this point. While nothing is happening, if we want the forum to be a fun place (which it also should be), let’s think of ways to make conversation that isn’t so damned negative all the time. The incessant bitching is not going to change anything. I didn’t say fans don’t have a right to be upset. I’m just expressing my opinion, that the point has been made…over and over and over again.

I have a stupid question but how do you know it was Céline as the Grinch?

 

Strangely, it was reposted a lot on social media but it didn't get that many likes... way less than the traditional message that was posted later.

 

And to be honest, I think caption was totally inappropriate given the circumstancesbiggrin2.gif "Silent night, not on my watch"...while this is exactly what is happening all year long.
