I’m having issues posting in the other Random Topics page, but I noticed Celine’s team (whoever does the instagram) is again now deleting photos/posts from her instagram page… there was about 450 post there and it’s now down to 380 (and continuing) .. I’m actively watching the number go down as I refresh lol. I wonder why they do that.. I can’t really see which ones are getting deleted but the most noticeable that are missing are the two videos (French and English) of her announcing she has SPS. Then I noticed that the little video she did with the doctor from Colorado about her donation is also missing. Could mean nothing but it’s interesting what is being chosen to be deleted and kept.

Today I watched the entire Live 2017 London concert again, which I attended and filmed. I am so happy I actually filmed all of it, it's just so special to me now, even more than before.

This is what I wrote to Céline’s management on Instagram. It’s still a small page, so I don’t think they receive thousands of messages every day. So, if each of us writes to them daily, we might have a chance for these complaints to make it onto their agenda. My hopes are small, but we have nothing to lose. I wrote to them nicely and honestly about what I wish for as a fan.

 

While we’re all thinking of Céline and wishing her good health and strength to overcome these battles, there are still parts of her career left uncelebrated — things we, as fans, have been hoping for for years. We’ve been here for Céline and will continue to be, and we don’t want anything from her or put any pressure on her to do anything given the circumstances. However, when it comes to the management of her catalog, we haven’t been able to truly enjoy proper anniversary revisits of her hugely successful albums.

 

We’re deeply disappointed that D’Eux, Falling Into You, or Let’s Talk About Love haven’t received true anniversary editions, with demos, remixes, and unreleased materials that would mean so much to us.

 

While we wait for new music and news from Céline, we thank you for everything you do for her and hope our messages reach the right place — so that together we can celebrate the full legacy of such an exceptional artist as Céline.

I know that MTV died years ago, but it's still sad.

Most big pages like this don’t even accept personal messages and need approval first. This page went right through and I think it’s because it’s still a small page. But if we all message they won’t be able to ignore it easily. Not a guarantee for anything to happen of course but it’s worth a shot and I think if we annoy them with enough people messaging they won’t be able to not at least bring it up Joyce, John or Céline. I messaged them a few weeks back and I saw someone was typing a response but they didn’t send it. Really frustrating.

Their response to me was honestly a little condescending back to me.

 

So my initial message I bluntly said to them “do you guys plan on doing anything in relation to Celine’s career, or give any anything to the fans or just letting her legacy go stale”….so I was a little blunt and all they said back was…

 

“Hi, we are really proud of Celine’s achievements in the past 18 months or so given her health battles which I’m sure you’re aware of. Wasn’t the Olympics incredible! Hope you like the Charlotte tilbury campaign. Isn’t she looking great! All the best x”

 

I think my message might’ve pissed them off. They said “her health struggles which I’m sure your aware of”… I took that as a dig for even asking a question, ofc if I’m taking time out of my day I know about her health issues.

 

The point is though they ARE reading them.

Olympics…. I guess they will keep talking about it for ages. This is the same team who thought it wasn’t necessary to release the song to streaming until everyone forgot about it.

 

Also, I don’t take well to the condescending tone and response they gave. They said her health struggles…”as I’m sure your aware of” as if the fans no less then whatever intern is running that page. I really hate to keep saying it but RENE would be rolling in the grave if he seen how this team has handled her career/legacy. Even a short backstage video of her telling she is getting ready for the show. As simple as that is, it's what we want to see.

 

I like the never seen before photoshoots and all, but how AMAZING would just a little video be?

 

For all I care they release the first video of IWYTNM, at this point I take anything.

 

A career so long, so many tv shows, interviews, concerts. There is plenty of footage we didn't see.

I believe he was 100% responsible for the Rob Prinz deal with ICM. I also believe he was most likely getting a kickback from Rob Prinz, which was why Prinz was being paid as much as he was. I think Aldo was a shady character.
