Help is my one of my all-time favorite songs. Like Celine, I also think John's version is the best, better than the Beatles original for me. I believe John Lennon himself had said John Farnham's interpretation was the best cover of that song. So for my fave singer to sing my fave song. What a treat! Can't wait to hear her version. Just when I'm curious what Irene has to say, Céline decides to interrupt and start singing. That I find the most annoying habit of her.

 

Same with some interviewers, you can feel that they ask through on her answers maybe go off script, she interrupts them and back on the script again

 

Oh well some things don't change haha

Now we've actually been listening to the same things since the Hoda interview.

This one brought something new with the John Farnham 'Help' song (that I didn't know until today). I'm glad she's currently working on her comeback.

 

I'm not quite sure yet I'd take the chance to go to Vegas with a 50% odd she'll cancel the show... but eventually her call will be too strong to ignore!

Yeah. Me neither. Ofc everything it s possible. But if the chances will look like that, I dont see her taking the stage and risking so many poeple s job.

I just wonder though in a way easy to say I will be back but once give a date and people spend a lot lot of money to come see you and now you have that pressure/expectation as well as her own I hope that doesn't become to much. She has not had that since the new medication and really no way to simulate what you might feel.

 

Also can't even imagine her standing back on stage and all the emotions her and the fans will have. If she can handle all that then she really will have gotten control of this awful disease.

I am actually quite surprised thet Celine admitted she is sensitive to triggers. We here on the forum speculated she's not because she went to a hockey game, Katy Perry concert (and now The Rolling Stones concert) that are full of them.

 

So I do wonder how it actually affects her. Celine says she was very worried about her Grammy appearance, but it's literally just a few minutes compared to like 2 hours concerts she's been to. Maybe she's mostly sensitive to emotions rather than lights and sounds...

Yeah or those were in past and now nothing seems to trigger her. Hard to say cause not sure if she is talking in past or now when she talks about triggers. If it is emotions like I said would be interesting how that first time on stage will be cause the emotions will be off the chart.

What does she mean about “my voice is being rebuild”

I’m guessing that’s her way of saying she’s adapting her voice, seems like she’s going for a less restricted approach and better pronunciation so maybe a little bit to do with that and maybe she’s actually trying to regain some of what she had lost in her mid belts. From what I can tell her Lows and head voice are quite good, but we haven’t heard lots of actual belting so it’s a bit hard to say. Her pronunciation does seem better though
