Hi new to Forum

Hi fellow forum members. Wanted to introduce myself. Name is Hope and been a fan of Celine since the around 1995. I have worked in IT field for the last 25 years and live in Michigan.

 

Got to see her in Vegas on my birthday in 2005. I had been diagnosed with MS the fall before so for my birthday in 2005 my mom and sister got tickets for us all to go see A New Day because they knew how much I loved her. Saw her again in 2008 on her Taking Chances world tour at the Palace of Auburn Hills MI which is 10 minutes from my house and which has since been torn down. Both shows were just amazing.

 

Love all her music but some of my favorites are the album One Heart, BYLM. Right now in love with 'Love of My Life'. You just feel her soul when she sings it and knowing it was written for her, hard not to cry when I listen to it,

 

Her announcement in December just hurt so much knowing how much she loves signing and then seeing how bad this disease is just hurts my heart. After every thing she has been through losing Rene, her brother and then her mom. I just hope she is not in pain and able to enjoy being with her boys and that she will find a way back to singing.

 

As much as I love her singing I love her personality and her love story with Rene just as much. I really enjoy watching all her interviews over the years. Crazy to watch her evolution over the last 40years. Bittersweet re-watching her love story with Rene unfold knowing what was to come.

 

Looking forward to joining the discussions and exploring all the older posts.
