Dionesque Posted June 21, 2023 at 05:58 AM Posted June 21, 2023 at 05:58 AM (edited) Hi guys, I want to tell you my story, so far, about battling for the refund of my Amsterdam ticket bought off Ticketmaster NL. From outside NL it was only possible to pay with a credit card, I think, maybe PayPal too... I paid with credit card and in the cancellation e-mail it said they will refund my card automatically if it's still valid so I don't need to do anything. My card is valid untill February next year so I thought it's ok. Unfortunately they e-mailed me 2 weeks later that they can't find my payment method anymore or that it's unavailable, I guess they no longer thave the full details as it's been 4 years ago already... Same case I had with German Eventim, they couldn't find my card either so I've sent them my IBAN details and soon after that I got the refund. I did the same with Ticketmaster NL, I've sent them my IBAN/BIC details almost 2 weeks ago now but still no refund and my order isn't visible anymore in my Ticketmaster account, there are no future and no past orders in my accounts now!, my order history is completely blank... When I contact Ticketmaster, noone replied, I only got strange mails some days later to rate the customer service agents who interacted with me but their actual messages never arrive, nneither in spam folder nor anywhere else... The notifications e-mails were at least to find in spam. On Monday finally I've received an actual reply from a customer support agent and he wrote my tickets were already refunded on 9th June... That can't be true, nothing arrived to my bank account nor to my credit card!... A delay due to international bank transfer can't be an issue here, my refund for the Antwerp tickets arrived within 2 days... I'm ver worried now and angry, that there's no better way to contact Ticketmaster, they don't even seem to have customers' telephone hotline anymore where I could call them and even with a call, I'm unsure they would do anything as the order seem to already been deleted from my account... I must say I was the most afraid about getting my refund for the concerts in Poland as there was no communication whatsoever from the Polish ticket seller when the concerts got resheduled, they never sent an e-mail, neither they did about the cancelled tour, the only message about that and how to get a refund was posted on their Facebook page. On top, they made applying for the refund quite complex but after all I got properly refunded for all those shows. In contrary, I expected there won't be any problems with such a big company as Ticketmaster, apparently i've been severely wrong though... I'd like to hear how did your refund for the Amsterdam show(s) went on, especially from those of you outside the NL, because BeNeLux people paying with Ideal probably are getting their refund automatically to their bank accounts used upon purchase but how about those of you who paid with a credit card back in 2019?
