My Trip to Sea World!

Recommended Posts

Posted

Yesterday I went to Sea World with my family, and we saw Shamu, the killer whale. To my surprise, Shamu was a girl! (And I this time, I thought this 6-ton whale was a guy! :lmao: )

Anyway, here're some pics... They were REALLY HUGE, so I had to shrink them some so please pardon the quality :blushing:

Oooo...you`re so lucky :flowers:

I went to a big seaworld here in Japan recently. They have 3 whales. One on them is only 1 years old. I got to touch it on its nose and then it squirted water at me - I`ve never been so excited  I love animals

So tell everything that you saw and did??? :kicking:

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here where I live, we get to see whales close to the shore. If you take out a boat for 15 minutes, You'll find whales and a lot of dolphins.

They are sooooooooooooo cute.

Thanx for sharing your photos with us. I saw the similar show when I was in Turkey last year. :)

We've got five whales! :spaz: But you're soooo lucky! You got to touch 'em? I really wanted to touch one (they're my most favorite animal ever since "Free Willy!" :P) They had already chosen a guy and a girl from the audience. The got to rub them all over! Whales' skin is very sensitive.

And the dolphin in the pic is a girl. I think she gave birth to some dolphins just a week before yesterday! :D She's the only one that could do that trick at the moment (come out of the water). But we did get to touch them. ^_^

The seals were VERY loud, and we were allowed to feed them, which was VERY cool!

The pic with the other two seals (and the white... um... what do you call it?), well, they put on a comedy show, which was awsome! They really know how to make you laugh.

In the afternoon, we bought some Shamu-Popsickle sticks. It was vanela ice-cream shaped like Shamu the whale, on a stick, and dipped in chocolate! YUM! :D I saved the pop-sickle stick... my sis thought I was nuts. But I told her it was for memory-sake! :msn-tongue:

I guess the highlight of the day and my most favorite part was seeing Shamu, the killer whale up close and personal! They had 5 whales in all! So as you can imagine, the tank was HUGE! It was definately a treat because when I was 4 years old, I loved killer whales, becuase I saw the movie, "Free Willy," and as a kid, it was my first favorite movie ever! And orca whales remaine my favorite animal to this day! It's so sad that Keiko (the whale that played "Willy" in the movie, passed away.

But over all, the day was awsome!

Orcas are my favourite too :thumbsup2:

We weren`t allowed to touch the whales, but I went into the stadium before the show and the young whale came to the edge of the tank and squirted water at me so I put my hand over the edge and he bobbed up and down while touching my hand each time then he stayed still and I rubbed his nose :P Then I got chased away by one of the staff :angry2:

It was our little special moment :D

I saved EVERYTHING from that day too :thumbsup2: So tell your sis that you`re not the only strange one

Ours had 3 whales - There`s a restaurant around the bottom of the tank so you can watch the whales swimming around while you eat lunch! Sooooo freakin` cool !!

I want a tank like that in my house :cry1:

We have an underground area where you can just go and see the whales under-ground too! Now that was wicked cool! :w00t:

Oh, BTW, I forgot to mention that we all got SUPER SOAKED!! :lmao: With FREEZING water! LOLOL... but it was worth it!
