Yes, I'm also sure performing for her is like a therapy she can forget a little about Rene's passing, I'm sure it heals her heart and soul. But I think after the show she wants only to get home and be with her kids. I know it's a part of her work, but for a time it would be better to put a lid on meet&greet. 2 Quote

It's true, but I'm sure she won't move on from a day to another, nobody would. This is the hardest period of her life. I'm sure she loves performing and it helps her in healing, I'm just worried about meet &greets. But who knows? We know how much she loves her fans, so maybe it does her good. Quote

While she did for each celebs' death that occured around it. Don't know whyn but still I was a bit disappointed. Maybe meeting Shania was really emotional if they're really close friends and they couldn't have a picture taken with all the sobbing talking about René! Quote

Not only has she been to hundreds of shows (good for her!) but also to dozens of Meet and Greets (also good for her). But really why can't fans like these in general skip the Meet and Greet. Time and again they take a place of someone who might have never met Celine backstage... I could care less about Ramona, and after the 500th picture of them together I sometimes roll my eyes. BUT considering how much she's invested in Celine (even if it's insignificant in the big picture for someone worth $600 million), Celine's team is probably just acknowledging her contribution to paying their bills hihi . Also, all the meetups they've had over the years have made her an "acquaintance" of sorts of Celine, so she gets special treatment like Celine's past dancers or collaborators would (whereas Celine would probably forget most fans she meets just once). The world is not fair and Celine fans aren't entitled to Meet and Greets, but I get your disappointment because I would kill to meet Celine just once! I think the media likes to make it look like Celine is friends with certain celebrities just because they have one or more things in common with her. Angelina Jolie is a mother and humanitarian, so the media paired them up because they are both mothers and both give to the community. They pair Celine and Shania up because they are both singers, both Canadian and are both mothers. LOL. There was even an article out once that said that RC and Shania's son had play dates together. I think that article came out long before Shania even had a show in Vegas, so I highly doubt that story is true. Like chocolatechip15, I also have only seen Celine and Shania together at Divas Live,The Juno Awards and maybe 1 other award show. Celine herself has said that she doesn't really make friends in the industry. She is polite with people and gives them respect, but she doesn't mix the two worlds into her daily life. As far as I know Celine has her good friend Robin and a few other close people that she calls friends in her life, but she tends to not hang out with other celebs outside of work. Quote
