wow, you really met Gatica! You could have asked so many questions!!!

 

I know and I wanted, but I was working and he was our passenger so I couldn’t. I just told him that I admire his talent and his career and if he could let me know about this “mystery” song supposedly called “Play me like a love song”

That just makes it all the more strange why they wouldn't include it on the album. If the song is so good, why not include it on the album?

 

On another note, why does Celine's demos and reject songs never leak? Other artists unreleased songs leak all the time, but it never happens with Celine.

Let's say for the sake of argument that Play Me Like A Love Song was the My Heart Will Go On of this album, it would be extremely foolish to not release it, or include it on the record. Unless, they had some other plans with it. Let's say a follow up album, but that doesn't really make that much sense either. Not in these times. That's what I'm hoping for, but realistically I don't expect that to happen. It could have been for a movie or some other project as that seems to be the only local reason to save it.

Bigger in what way? Because comparison like this reminds me of the comparison between Incredible and The Power of the Dream once. Before Incredible released, there was rumors that Incredible sounds as epic as TPOTD and suitable to be some kind of next Olympic theme song. Later, it turned out to be untrue.

guys, what if Courage was just a so so album, and the other half of the recorded songs which is yet unreleased including PMLALS is larger than life, and Courage was just a fire starter and that’s why it was not promoted properly? I know it’s an obscure thought, but what if it’s actually true?

Bigger than MHWGO means nothing. I mean lots of Celine’s songs are bigger than MHWGO.

 

Humberto lost it a long time ago for me. This is this guy who is in charge of the worst production I ever heard in my whole life (show must go on and the ones he produced on Encore un soir). At a point where I was thinking it was a sabotage. I mean, I’m more worried than happy to see him around Celine now.

 

If all that is true then I guess this song is related to a special project otherwise it would have been on the Courage album.

 

I’ve never been impressed by this snippet. I find her voice quite too deep and in way better condition/clearer now. The music sounds generic. Well it s a snippet I may love it at the end but I don’t see any wow factor so far.

I have no clue how these things work. But my guess is PMLALS was recorded and submitted for the Bond movie. But it was rejected. So it’s not really her team’s fault for not knowing the song’s destiny.

 

Maybe other artists also submitted songs and were rejected? Beyonce was also rumored, for instance.

 

They went with Billie E. because she is the most popular artist right now.

I've pretty much given up on this one. I'll get excited if/when it's actually released. Not saying he would do this, but what if he's just messing with everyone because everyone is making such a huge deal over a snippet?? Just a thought. Either way, it's only been rumored to be released....sometime....they don't know when. And bigger than MHWGO?? Are we really buying that? Hard feat to accomplish. Not saying it can't be done, because it's Celine. But being realistic....in this day and age, not likely.

Ok guys "news" here (if I haven't missed it being discussed elsewhere):

 

Thanks to this clip https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZC7wWLq6Hvk I saw that the name of the woman in the glasses is Irit TenHengel. Went to her insta and she's involved in music somehow. Scrolled through her insta and found a pic of her in the studio with Humberto Gatica https://www.instagram.com/p/BwyhMxEHx4i/?hl=sv saying the've been working togheter (april 28th).

 

Now rumour from me (if no one has decoded it before me): This song is co-created with Dianne Warren (I thought this song had some Warren sugar in it!) and another woman called Bonnie Greenberg. Bonnie seems to be in the movie industry and they have created somthing together for a soundtrack. Irit posted vaguely about this just days before she posted the pic with Humberto (april 25th and 26th https://www.instagram.com/p/BwsKpNHHf4x/?hl=sv and https://www.instagram.com/p/BwtYX9LHRB5/?hl=sv).

 

Conclusion: Play Me Like A Love Song is co-created (or created) by Dianne Warren and is going to be featured on a soundtrack. If this is true my first feel that this was a soundtrack song was correct. ��

 

Now go on and applaud or debunk my theory!

I think we can pretty much guarantee that PMLALS is Lovers Never Die, especially as Ross King said on UK’s Lorraine show that it could be a Bond song and most people here are thinking that PMLALS sounds like a Bond song, I myself didn’t get that from the snippet we heard but I know a lot on here think so.

 

I would imagine this Irit Tenhengel, or whatever the spelling was, either produced the song or owns the company that produced it, as her IG bio says she owns a music production company.

 

I definitely think it’s too much of a coincidence that most on here think it sounds like a Bond theme and Ross said that too about LND. I also think the lyrics we heard definitely fit the theme of the title. Anyway only 30 days until we find out this and so much more!! I’m seriously thinking of taking a couple days holiday at time of album release so I can enjoy it to the fullest 😂 Probably makes me a bit cray cray 😜 but we’ve waited so long for this.
