All this rumors turned out to be nothing, all those hype before Courage released turned out to be nothing, all those expectation of a great promos turned out to be nothing.

Courage is out 3 months we have 21 new songs. Its too early for new song. Whats the point to have new song out song which is not included in new album. I would like to hear PMLALS but dont think its will be out in nearly future. Maybe lead single for best of album. Come on team Celine give us LD video or some new video from Courage album song.

Humbertico is the only person who has ever said PMLALS would be released for V-Day. Authors/producers of songs have no say as to what the record company chooses to release and when.

Her team, promotional wise, is the worst in years. Seems like they don’t know what to do with her. Before Courage released, there was buzz that Sia will penned 3 songs for her, one of them called Baby. Then there was Lying Down snippet in Karaoke Pool that at that point we called ‘Poison’. There was excitement that Mocchio will be back as her producer. Then there was sneak peak behind the scene of Lying Down music video. Celine talked about this red theme of the video, etc. It was clear at the beginning they planned that Lying Down will be the first single.

 

Then the album released. Suddenly they dropped 3 singles simultaneously. 2 of them with generic music videos.

 

Then BAM! Nothing.

 

Btw I agree. The album is just out 3 months. With 21 new songs, it’s too early for new song.

 

But strangely, Celine and her team doesn’t seem to care to give those songs enough promotion. Not even in Courage World Tour. They even dropped Lying Down from the setlist.

 

Celine is one of the greatest songstress on earth, there’s no deny it. I still love her three thousand. But I wonder what happened in her team that they give her one of her worst promotional strategy, if there’s any.

 

So, Iet’s forget about this Play Me Like a Love Song. Maybe it’s only an unrealesed track like bunch of her other unreleased songs. If one day we get this song, maybe we just lucky.

Celine didn’t cancel any shows for her mum passing away so I doubt that has anything to do with this... even then what would Humberto honestly have to do with release dates, surely that’s down to Sony

Cancelling what... 5 times 15-20 000 people’s plans compared to cancel a new single promo..... there’s a HUGE difference.

He was just trolling the obsessed fans that were inundating his socials with comments and DMs about the damned song. The Valentine’s Day thing was a cute rumour, but we never had any proof/confirmation and therefore no reason to believe it would happen. And I f it was supposed to be a surprise, do you really think he would have been blasting it on Twitter?

 

If it didn’t make the cut for Courage, perhaps it will resurface for another project, but it’s a waste of time (not to mention 17 pages of commentary) to speculate over something that we have no information about. I want to hear it too, but I haven’t lost any sleep over it. Que sera sera!
