Celine Fan 77 Posted April 3, 2019 at 12:46 PM Posted April 3, 2019 at 12:46 PM I think this will be like a French version of the GMA interview. She'll probably talk about her life in general and mention the L'Oréal thing. Dion2000 Posted April 3, 2019 at 01:28 PM Posted April 3, 2019 at 01:28 PM I think she will possibly mention French dates too Doubt they will even discuss European dates giving that theyve labelled BST as the only european date... i imagine they will wait until after that to announce any European dates Quote

Lmao Yep But of course for next year duh but the point is, they wont Announce anything like that until BST is 100% sold out or has passed. It could p*ss those off who bought tickets thinking she wouldnt be doing any Euro dates for the forseeable, especially for those who dont like festivals and are only going for Celine Quote

Shamrock_1982 Posted April 3, 2019 at 01:35 PM Posted April 3, 2019 at 01:35 PM We all knew a tour was coming though and with the announcement tonight, wrapping up Vegas, coming here in July and then back to start the tour in the u.s I doubt she will have much time for French promo until next year. I could be wrong but in one sense it gives fans in France a heads up while she concentrated on the English career this year Quote

Celine could never come close to her in that regard. 2 Quote Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

You're having a good time, but in France, some might say that you've lost it (gone mad)." She responds:"Lost it (gone mad)...no...Celine Dion has started to live. That's the difference. I hate when she says “Celine Dion has started to live” because my brain automatically goes off and think she refers to not enjoying life with René like she wasn’t living. I understand the end was bad but we always at least were led to believe she lived life to her best when she was married as well. She used to say when she had kids, that she started living the day they were born. Quote
scielle Posted April 4, 2019 at 07:31 PM Posted April 4, 2019 at 07:31 PM I think the attitude, the bursting into song, etc, is just a defense mechanism. 2 Quote

You can't miss what you never had. Also she kinda stopped living after the day of the cancer diagnosis, not just after Rene died. Thats many years. Took a lot of time and strength to go out again and start living on her own and experiencing things for the first time. So yes, now she is starting to live again, just in a different way. 5 Quote
maki_Dion-er Posted April 4, 2019 at 07:51 PM Posted April 4, 2019 at 07:51 PM I think the attitude, the bursting into song, etc, is just a defense mechanism. Maybe sometimes but Inthink that's just her personality. She's broken into songs during her speeches at concerts, yesterday during the live event but she wasn't asked anything out of the norm. She says she has a song for everything so I think it's just her way of being. And maybe she's gotten a bit more sassy now that she deals more with business and other things she let Rene deal with. And I think people just naturally change with time, some get softer and some get more "edges". Plus so many years of taking criticism, I think now she's less willing to just turn the cheek so maybe sometimes shshe might be a little on the defensive. I love this Celine. She's sassy but at the end she makes sure to show she is joking or not trying to be mean. 5 Quote
Dancing_Queen Posted April 4, 2019 at 08:04 PM Posted April 4, 2019 at 08:04 PM I think the attitude, the bursting into song, etc, is just a defense mechanism. Exactly. I was at its worst in 2016, when she tried to convince the world (and herself) that she was doing absolutely fine after René died (the Fallon segment was so cringe...). Then she posted that video of her singing the Sia song and it damn near broke my heart. It was so obvious she was in pain.. I really do believe she's doing much better now, but at times it still feels like she's just pretending. I hope she has someone to talk to about these things... 2 Quote
