Why isn’t she saying all the lines, just a couple of words. I know she’s MORE than capable of delivering a stellar performance.

I wonder if this was done on purpose. They just let her be authentic and spontaneous, in her natural habitat so to say

I’m right there with you. When I heard the first snippet, I was like “Oh no, girl - don’t go there!!!!!!” But now, I want to hear the full thing!! Usually her covers are lifeless carbon copies of the the original with her voice on top, but this —even though it’s still a carbon copy— sounds campy, energetic, and sassy. Her vocals are scorching hot. It matches her new attitude.

 

And now, all I can think is how badly I want her to sing “New Attitude” by Patti LaBelle. In fact, I’m shocked she hasn’t yet!! 😂

i highly doubt that she recorded the full thing, but just a portion of the song that's been commissioned for the commercial. just like they did with Mes Ailes a Moi in 2004 (french version of You and I), I don't think she ever did a full version of it, but a snippet to play for the commercial to promote it with.
