WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ADMINISTRATORS?

Stayed anyone of you in contact with the administrators of this forum quite recently? I wrote both of them twice, but my messages haven't been read up til now.

 

I would be glad to carry on with the once beloved "Celinish Closet", but as my upload volume decreases, I can't upload pictures in short time. And postings without pictures are useless!

 

Since I re-started it on July 2, 2018 approx. over 36.700 members viewed it, which makes in average around 300 views per day! Not bad for a forum with decreasing interest due to Instagram & Facebook!

If someone of you got contact with them, pls. let them know about my request.

I assume it may have to do with bandwith (images are much larger in size, which will only make the upkeep of the forum more expensive...keep in mind that moderators don't make money on this).

 

When I upload pictures, I tend to use sites such as tinypic (www.tinypic.com).

It lets you upload images (as many as you want) and generates a link to post them on a message board (just use the generated link between the brackets and the pic will show up in your post).

It's actually very easy to use and maybe worth a shot?

In 2015 ... ok, a loong time ago ... I wrote Koolan with the request to deleate older pictures @my postings to get volumne for uploading new ones. And he wrote me, that I should better tell him, when I need more volume, cause he didn't want older photos to be deleated. So that's the reason I wrote him. But you are right. More space means more money. Makes sense. But anyway would be a sign of respect a least answering. But maybe something terrible happened and they are dead?? Up til now I found noone who had contact with them lately.

 

But I will try that upload page ... I hope that my device and me don't sell ours soul to devil. By uploading pix and simultaneously downloading malware-crap.

Well, in that case, I will phone Céline, cause she can "save your (my) soul"!

This is why this forum sucks now. The admins are missing in action. They haven't posted in a long time. There is also some posts being made that aren't going to the proper place. If you are looking for bootlegs of Céline's latest shows, don't look in the Multimedia section where they are supposed to go. You will have to search the topic pages to find them. If the admins were around, they would move those post to the proper place.

I was also going to donate to this forum. I don't feel comfortable doing that now because I don't know where my money will go. Is it just gonna sit there or is someone pocketing it and not using it for the forum?

I have indeed been looking for latest bootlegs and I can't find. If the moderators/administrators have lost interest in her, then either tell us and try to find other people to run it, or, if it absolutely must close, give us PLENTY of time, like, six months or so, to know that and get used to it and say our goodbyes.

Problem with that is that people don't seem to be interested in recording full audio bootlegs nowadays They'd rather post small clips of bad quality on Instagram

The multimedia section hasn't been properly used since maybe 2012?? This isn't new... but to be fair, times have changed. The multimedia section doesn't NEED the same function it did 10 years ago.

I'm sorry that you feel this way. Life has taken me over and I'm undergoing through some changes so I don't come here as much as I used to. Rest assured, the money is used to pay the big bills each month to keep this forum running. This is my baby and I won't let it rot and die.
