I miss SO MUCH having a multimedia center for Céline related stuff. All links from here are down and YouTube is crappy because it keeps taking down a lot of rare content. I want to download things but they're nowhere to be found.

Definitely!

Back in the day you had the fan sites where you could find a lot. And also on this forum the multimedia section was up to date.

 

YouTube is getting worse and worse. There used to be a time when everything was on there. But the algorithm and copyright issues made a lot of things dissappear.

Beauty And The Beast is not included. What’s happening. Who are making these lists? Looks like people behind making the lists (from Billboards, Rolling stones, etc) doesn’t like Celine. That’s why I don’t pay attention to lists because most of them are just fans of the artists they made.

 

How does this works? Did they show this before on how they make those lists?

He’s Lebanese and Syrian, and doubtful. She never posted about Lebanon. Actually Ukraine is all she’s ever spoken out about.

I know about his roots, I’m also middle eastern, half Lebanese and half Syrian. I was saying that it’s doubtful that Celine will make a statement on the events in Syria as she hasn’t made one for Lebanon during the war.

Of course not. Celine shows off herself as apolitical. Because politic devides people. Personally I think it's the best position to have.

 

And as internet knows no nuance : if you are not "for", you are for sure "against". And no balanced speech can be heard. Can you image if Céline applaudes for the Syrian rebellion, she might be accused to support Daesh ou Al Qaida ( regarding to the rebellion chief background)

No she definitely cannot do that

- 3 Celine songs: MHWGO, When I Fall in Love, Beauty and the Beast, on pan flute, heard at a restaurant in Ollantaytambo, Peru, on the way to Machu Piccu

- last night, midnight ride to the airport in La Paz, Bolivia: taxi driver, with windows open, blasting All By Myself, the Spanish’s Version. Never have I heard Sola Otra Vez at that volume.

 

Our Celine still truly global! 🙂

Celine is famous for her perfectionism. I am sure we would be totally enamored with her live singing voice today, but she might think fans don't want to hear it because it's not up to her standards.

 

I wonder how of it is her artistic self-criticism, and how much of it is her perception of the fans' demands. We never expected her to sound like the 90s and 2000s forever, although part of me feels like that's what she thinks.

In August 2017, the United Music Foundation preserved, in Geneva, a collection of 35 Céline Dion master tapes found in the archive of a Paris production company.

 

This collection, which includes about 40 tracks recorded in French, German and English, not only features the original masters and safety copies of tracks released between 1981 and 1988 but also alternate versions, unreleased demos and backing tracks.

 

This preservation project is also a tribute to Celine Dion's victory for Switzerland at the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, before embarking on a great international career.

 

These recordings of great artistic quality were preserved in high resolution (24bits / 96kHz).

 

 

I wonder if they just keep the tracks as conservation or if it's possible to go there and have access for listenning

It would get more views if it were released now in the short lead-up to Christmas, rather than on Christmas Day itself. I would love to hear see Celine give an at-home performance, but the most likely thing, if anything, is a spoken Christmas message from her. I don't expect it though.

Wow what a nice find!

It looks like they have released other artists music in order to raise money for future projects.

 

Maybe there is a way we can contact them?
