Was If you asked me to lipped just in that Special or in all the tours?

Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013)

Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016)

It's lipped in every tour it has been performed in.

 

The only live performances we have of it are promo - Arsenio Hall, Regis & Kathie Lee, Tonight Show, some event in Spain, and a couple others.

That "some event in Spain" was a live concert from the Celine Dion Tour, it was a special show in Seville for the Expo '92. So you're wrong on your first statement.

If it was an "event for an expo" than that automatically puts it separate from the CD Tour, which means your statement contradicts itself.

 

She only toured in North America for the tour.

 

Not to mention the clothes she is wearing in that performance is not her tour clothes.

I had understood it was part of that tour, but I must admit this time you are right, because searching...

It still could be interpreted as an introduction show, that I don't know... :shrug: But we can't be sure on this.. 'cos she was the opening act for Michael Bolton twelve days after the Seville exhibition show.

How many songs did she perform as the opening act?

 

I'm sure she changed things on her own tour. I've always been under the assumption that WDMHBN and IYAMT were lipped in the CD tour. I infer this because they are the only two re-recorded playbacks used for TCOML concert despite the fact that that concert had two other songs which were playback (Misled and TPOL). I assumed she recorded Misled and TPOL before TCOML tour started a few months later, and at this concert she used wht she already had from previous concerts.

Well I'm not that fond on the playback issue, I believed that the only song she didn't lip on TCOML Concert Home Video was its masterpiece, ICHFIL, as Sony announces in the DVD back it IS live, and they didn't write on there anything else regarding "Live" on any title. I'm a bit confused now, but it doesn't matter to me either. I just entered the conversation because I thought the Seville show was part of the CD WT so when I read ur comment I assumed you were wrong; and everything related to that concert I like talking about.

 

But I couldn' care less about playback at this point of time.

Have you even watched the DVD? LCMM and CNQR are CLEARLY live.

 

So is the last line of BATB which they randomly added in.

 

They probably only put (Live) there to symbolize that it is a "live cover" and can not be found on any released albums.

 

Wow, who'd have ever thought that I of all people would be saying people are exaggerating Celine's lip syncing!!! LOL

Who should play Celine in a movie about her life?? I know the answer!!!! MADELINE ZIMA.... she is best known as gracie in the 90's sitcom THE NANNY... she kinda looks like a young (though sexier) Celine!!!!

We also have more UNRELEASED from pre-break though too. Whether it's released, unreleased, whatever - who cares. We have it either way.

Celine has released more live recordings in English post-break(2002 onward) than pre-break(before 2000). I wish we had more live recordings released from her early English career.

 

This is not true; Pre-break you have: Live a Paris, Live a l'olympia, Live in Memphis CD [selected regions], Au coeur du stade live CD and many unreleased Live in London FIY, and maybe another Live in somewhere for LTAL tour. She released basically 2 and a 1/2 live CDs: post-break: live in las vegas 04 and TC live in Montreal and Boston; so you have 4 pre-break and 3 [2.5] post break.

I hope this wasn't posted before but according to twitter, the classic hollywood movies theme is cancelled! It says that she'll sing her biggest hits and that LCMM, The reason, Declaration of love and RDMH will be in the show, and that she'll dedicate a Billy Joel song to her sons in the new show! :heart: :clap:

Again, people are happy about this why exactly? :confused: Maybe people don't get that this means she will be singing the same lame songs she has been singing for the past 10 years. I swear if I have to listen to LCMM again I will have a fit! The same for RDMH.

 

By the way, there is topic about the cancelled theme.

I'd better see her singing LCMM again but with an orchestra behind that a show full of songs that aren't her own and that better suit Barbra Streisand in her 60's :ermm:

 

I'm excited about The Reason :w00t: , not that much for Declaration Of Love (wasn't a worst song to pick from FIY album? :sick: ).

 

But I'm still waiting for REAL unknown songs from her albums... :innocent: From LTAL for example, I would have died for Miles To Go (Before I Sleep) with an orchestra sound :wub:
