What are some similar(successful or not) artists in the French pop world that have the same pop/rock(ish) vibe as Celine’s French material?? I don’t speak French fluently per say but I love all her French material so wanted to see if there were other similar artists. Thanks Edited by kellyfan161

I love Isabelle Boulay (another French Canadian...she actually sang Avec Le Temps for Céline on 'l'Univers De'...')

The above are great, but dated.

Look for music by Louane as well as Christine and the Queens. Great pop music.

Christine and the Queens all the way. I wish Celine's productions sounded this good.

Are there any current French singers with 'big' voices you might recommend?

That style(s) of singing has mostly gone out of style in France but I'm wondering if I have missed someone (like Giorgia in Italy or Pastora Soler and Monica Naranjo in Spain for example)

Christine and the Queens has a big voice...when she uses it fully. She is awesome.

Thanks I'm aware of her. Any others which come to mind?

These songs are old! You can listen to Emmanuel Moire, Claudio Capeo, M. Pokora, Frero Delavega, Maitre Gims, Christophe Mae, Shy'M, Zaz, Zazie, Indila, Stromae, Kendji Girac, Vianney, and many many more!

Do you really get the same vibe from the people you named as from Celine Dion? I find your suggestions very surprising; I don't think they are similar to her at all and even though I know these people, it would not have occurred to me to suggest any of them here to someone looking for music like that of Celine Dion from the French pop world. Some of those suggestions could hardly be further away in fact. Maybe Zazie stylistically might be the closest but she's far from being a powerhouse vocalist.

Indila haven't heard from her a long time!

I really loved her debut album, but it's looong since she came with something new isn't it?!
