Do you wear them often and in public? Where do you wear them to?

To be honest, I've never been much of a fan of the "official" Celine t-shirts, mostly because I don't love the idea of wearing a t-shirt with Celine's face plastered on it. That's true of any band or artist for me, though. I'd be more inclined to wear a Celine t-shirt that was more subtle, like with some lyrics designed in an interesting way or something like that. For example, I do like the "L'amour Existe Encore" tank top in the boutique right now, and i wish they'd do more stuff like that. They've done some interesting stuff with the whole "The Show Must Go On" theme, too.

I have about 5 Céline t-shirts, from various trips to Vegas and this current tour. All of which have never been worn and 4 still have the original tags on them!

I don't know why I don't wear them, even in my house, it's like I don't want to taint them 😂

I've got quite a few, a lot from AND... and a few from other tours. I really don't wear them... The ones from AND... just aren't very flattering. I bought them when I was in high school and they didn't fit well then and don't fit well now (it's gotten worse over the years haha) - a lot of the women's shirts from AND... were really fitted and SHORT (to be fair I have a really long torso so that's partly the issue). Looking back on it I really should have just saved my money for something I would actually enjoy (rare singles, vinyl, etc) but when in Vegas! The other more generic tour t-shirts fit a lot better but I don't wear them in public, I wear them as PJs or when I'm hanging out at home.

 

I've actually just recently had my sister cut up the ones I don't wear to create a T-shirt quilt... at least it will be something useful!

Exactly! I've got two extremes with my AND ones. One is tiny and fitted and one is MASSIVE and very unfitted. I thought at the time it would be a good pajama top, but then couldn't bring myself to wear it because the picture on it is nice 😂

I've only wore mine on my flight back from Vegas, the day after I attended the show. Turned out so many people had seen the show and talked about how much they loved it. It was actually pretty cool. Probably wouldn't have the same effect if I wore it in Belgium though.

I have 3 shirts from Vegas, none fit well so I don't wear them much! I would love a good fitting shirt with a subtle, retro Céline picture that would look good with jeans and a jacket. Still haven't found what I'm looking for.

I got one from the TCWT, but mine is a weird cut, not a women's but not a men's either. I'm also 6'4" tall so it's also extremely hard to find regular shirts that fit in the length sense lol

I have one from the LTAL tour . . . humongous and boxy and not flattering at all. I wore it a fair amount that year but not much after that (I did also wear it when I went to see Celine in Vegas in 2013). In Vegas, I got a nice T-shirt - fit in a nice, feminine way, with a sparkly Celine logo . . but I've yet to wear it. There don't seem like a ton of appropriate occasions (plus, I'm afraid it'll get messed up if I have to wash it.). But if I ever see her live again, that's what I'd wear.

See mine like chipped off in pieces when I washed it. Not big pieces but still. Was like I payed 40$ for this thing? I guess this is where they got the profit, they have to somewhere right? lol

Yeah, that's my fear about washing it. And agreed -the prices are totally ridiculous for what you get!

I do wear mine. I have the one with the LMBTL cover that I bought when I went to see her in Vegas in 2015. Great quality!

I owned pretty much every shirt from the FIY and LTAL tours - stopped collecting after that because it just got to be too pricey. I wore them out in public a few times, but mostly as nighttime shirts. Sadly, most of them got SO badly worn out I had to toss them. There really wasn't any sense in keeping them...but now I somewhat regret that decision.

 

These days I am definitely more interested in simpler shirts with lyrics.

I bought this years tour tshirt. Will maybe wear it to the next tour I see. Then I bought a long sleeve shirt that I sleep in. It has her name on both sleeves.

I bought the Titanic hoodie in Paris and I've actually worn it already (Cêline-style, with jeans and golden sandals ). It's super comfortable and I'm totally gonna wear it again and again. Decided I wasn't going to be 'ashamed' any longer. If Céline can be fearless in her fashion choices, so can I! ❤

That one always sells out before the concerts, at least in Paris it did. They had to restock after the concerts each time.

I was just doing a search for Céline t-shirts to see what's out there, and found a few "vintage" shirts on Etsy selling at pretty high prices, like this FIY tour shirt, for $100 USD (!). The thought occurred to me that if I were involved in Céline's marketing and promo, I'd be reproducing/creating and selling '90s-era TCOML/FIY/LTAL designs and selling them through her website. Considering the current '90s nostalgia paired with the Céline renaissance, I'd think they'd sell like crazy, even if only to be worn ironically by Millennials.

H&M had shirts with Madonna, Mariah, Whitney even Cher and Titanic! I wish they'd make a vintage Céline shirt too!! :praying:

 

btw that shirt you posted will never sell for 100 bucks! You can find it cheaper on ebay!

 

 

Recently I pulled out all my Céline shirts (about 25 of them) out to see if I could find a cool old one for London... and I don't know if it's the age, the 'cut' of the 90s or my mom's bad washing, but most of the shirts were like twice as wide as they were long! Even if I wanted to wear them, I just couldn't cos most would look like a crop top! (Which isn't the most flattering look on a 1.95 meter tall guy... ) It's such a shame!

 

Also I wish they'd sell form fitted shirts for guys too as official merch, not only unshaped t shirts... I mean for 40 euros you should be able to expect more!
