First time to see Céline! June 3rd 2017

I'm seeing Céline in Vegas for the first time on June 3rd 2017! It's been my dream to see her Vegas show ever since the premiere of A New Day, and now I'm finally going to travel all the way from Denmark to Las Vegas to see her!!

I've only seen her once in Denmark in 2007 or 2008 during her Taking Chances tour and she was fantastic! And from that moment on I knew I was destined to travel to see her in America!

 

Well, my dream has come true. The tickets and plane flights are booked! I'm taking friends with me, and we are beyond excited! But none more than me. 😬

We got tickets on the fifth row, front and center. Because if you travel so far to see her, we might as well do it right!

 

Now for my real questions: Does any 'veterans' have any tips or ideas for newbies to the show? Both before during and after? And what's up with the boutique? Any good stuff to find there?

For the shows in November, people were allowed to stand up and go close to the stage for most of the last part of the show ( funk medley and then again for TSMGO).

So I can only say BE PREPARED!!

I wasn't and I nearly ran over those poor folks sitting next to me lol

 

P.S. I'm jealous....wanna go AGAIN!!

Hi, I am not a "veteran", but we saw her in January, 3rd row, front. On youtube there are several walkthrough videos of the Céline boutique. Hard to say if the stuff is good or not. You get cups, T-Shirts, pens, CDs, DVDs (you need a region free dvd player!!!), jewelery, program of the current show and so on.... We really enjoyed our trip to Vegas, because Céline is everywhere..... We stayed at Caesars Palace, many pictures of Céline, the keycard from the hotel room, the cabs with advertisement on the roof, in the shooping malls, etc.....it´s like a Céline wonderland Oh yes, we wanna go back and see her again ....enjoy your trip and the concert!!

That's awesome! Sounds a lot like when I saw her in Copenhagen in 2008. At the end of the show people tasting gathering slowly at the front of the stage, and everyone had a great time. It was very calm and respectful. Great experience!

Oh, good to know! Found some of the videos you talked about. I don't think I'm going to spend too much money there other than for a mug and tee shirt. But we'll see if I go mad. 😛😛😛

Was there in November. The show was great. First time ever seeing a Celine show.

Didn't know then that you could go up to the stage. Since I didn't know that I wasn't exactly near the stage but little behind maybe two people or so. If I had known I would have stayed ready and then run to the stage. But it was pretty cool anyway being that close to the stage.

 

Anyone know if there is any security check before the show, like if they check for cameras etc. Wonder because I didn't go through any type of security stuff but thought that they didn't do it cause I was a little late. I came when they were going to close the doors.

So do they usually do any type of security check before the show?

If not you could bring a better camera if you want to record anything from the show. I will for sure next time I'm there.

 

I think the store was pretty boring. Only bought the show magazine.

 

Btw don't know how long you are staying in Las Vegas but I must recommend a visit to Grand Canyon!
