Yesterday i was listening to 1 fille 4 types and oh god i forgot how good this album is! I'm glad she sang many songs from it in the 2016 tour (but sony is so stupid to not release it on dvd or at least double cd) but she really should sing Contre Nature in the 2017 tour! This song is soooo beautiful with the guitar. Maybe last year it was too hard for her to sing lyrics like 'Every day without you, it's against nature'

I will say what I did for last tour : I'd be happy with only ONE rare/never sung song of her.

 

I really doubt that there will be as many surprises as last year but ... yeah... only one will be nice too me.

TPOL would be a nice opener, but I also like the IACBTMN+TPOL medley a lot.

 

Not huge fan of the acoustic part, but it will be in the list probably. Think Twice needs to be, and I wish for FIY.

I just have to say it irritates me when Celine says it's our fault she still sings these songs in her shows. Yes maybe it is our fault that she sings, MHWGO, BYLM, ICBTMN, TPOL.... those songs helped made her who she is today and of course they should be in every English show.

 

But please tell me why they feel the need to sing LCMM, RDMH in every show? They weren't that successful people really wouldn't miss them that much... and instead her biggest last 3 "hits " are cut in 1/4 and sung in a medley which makes ZERO sense, yet she sings Purple Rain in full. Celine wants to blame us lol but really it's her and her teams fualt, not the fans. When an artist becomes as big as Celine is, yeah there are some songs you almost have to sing to please the people coming but Celine honestly could get away with only singing 4-5 of those and have a show of anything else she wanted from her catalogue.

 

Let's hope this isn't Vegas on wheels because with A NEW DAY.. she couldn't travel with a show that big this one on the other hand is very possible to travel with because it's not a huge production.

If there were ever a time that Just A Little Bit of Love or Sorry For Love could be done right, it would be now. Both of those songs would need completely new arrangements for the stage and I think Mego never could've done them justice. They're both basically just a drum machine on repeat. Scott would need to re-envision them with the orchestra - maybe adding some horns like was done to that horrendous performance of Treat Her Like a Lady from the Jamaica Jazz Fest a few years ago...

 

I think though that if she wants to add some more uptempo songs, I'd rather she went back to her first three English albums and bring out "Unison," "I Feel too Much," "Everybody's Talkin My Baby Down" or "Did You Give Enough Love"...
