SuperLove4Celine Posted January 25, 2017 at 10:47 PM Posted January 25, 2017 at 10:47 PM I wouldn't be surprised if the English acoustic medley from her Vegas residency winds up in the tour's setlist. 2 Quote

Celinefan1993 Posted January 25, 2017 at 10:58 PM Posted January 25, 2017 at 10:58 PM I don't know one artist of Celine's caliber who does meet and greets for $600. Be grateful Celine's tickets are much cheaper than Madonna or Barbra Streisand. Lord knows she could get away with charging their prices, but yet she doesn't. To me it's disappointing that she's not trying the Asian tour again. She already sold out dates there----the demand is there. Sort of cock blocking to cancel and then to postpone it. Damn, I wish she'd do Canada again. But to me it's way too soon to do more French dates. But if she sells out, allons-y.But for me, I'm spending the summer in Quebec again----so no luck for me. I actually didn't want to reply but... I read that Mariah did have packages with meet and greet for €700 and also all the extra's. So, it does exist! And now, don't become angry at me Quote
Frenchie Posted January 25, 2017 at 11:08 PM Posted January 25, 2017 at 11:08 PM I'm trying to work out logistics, and see if I can also make the Lille show. I'm using London as my home base for the week I can spend in Europe. What is the quickest way to get to Lille from London? Is Paris or London closer to fly out to go back to the USA? Thank you for any info and help!! <3 Quote

Shamrock_1982 Posted January 25, 2017 at 11:41 PM Posted January 25, 2017 at 11:41 PM Bloody Irish always causing a scene lol. She nearly done Belfast in 2008 but there was an issue either with the promoters/sponsors or getting a venue for a specific date... I'd rather she chose the north over the south this time so she could keep her promise from 99 and so that southern fans can come to the north for a change 1 Quote

LauCH Posted January 26, 2017 at 12:50 AM Posted January 26, 2017 at 12:50 AM Do you guys think she will announce more dates during August? Or it's done? Quote
scielle Posted January 26, 2017 at 12:56 AM Posted January 26, 2017 at 12:56 AM I wonder if these will be full orchestra shows, like the ones this past summer. It's one thing to hire 2 local orchestras in Paris & Montreal and fly them to 1 other city. It's quite another to fly and house them all over Europe. But yeah, I do believe they'll add more dates, depending on how initial sales go. It would seem a shame to invest in creating a major touring production like this and not try to squeeze more than 16 shows out of it. Suspect it's a function of initial demand. Quote
Boy Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:13 AM Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:13 AM I will probably go to Berlin. Anyone else going?I'm hoping to get tickets for Berlin, fingers crossed! Is it possible to find the prices for the Berlin show already somewhere?.. Quote Love comes to those who believe it...

louisechf Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:27 AM Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:27 AM Me too Darren! I wonder if Celine will continue promo for EUS .... Sony Music Worldwide posted a tweet saying she will sing songs from EUS (guessing that's the French part of the tour). It would be smart to release TS! I've been that excited thinking about seeing her again after so long I forgot to get excited at the fact she will be back in the UK! Im sure she will do some promo whilst here! She has too! At least on interview! I have had so many people on my FB send me a message with the news (none Celine fans) .... as if I didn't know Excited excited excited... Kev xCan you send me the tweet? Please! Haha I have many non Céline Dion fans contacting me as well, just to tell me about the tour. People I been friend with long time ago and people that dont know me so well and its very cute of them!!! But like you said... I KNOW! louisechf with love, https://www.facebook.com/teamcelinesweden/ Quote

Leo Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:51 AM Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:51 AM (edited) I'm happy the tour is finally confirmed. Just a few thoughts. Why play Bercy twice if she can play a stadium in Paris? Too many shows in France. 2016 was their turn. Anyway, it's a good move that she's touring the provinces. Reminds me of the 1995 and 1996 tours. Only two shows in London? "My Love" has sold 950,000 copies and counting in the UK. Both TC and LMBTL crossed the 300,000 copies sold mark. She has a huge fan base. She can play a medium-size stadium or 4 or 5 nights at the O2. No show in Dublin? She played to 60,000 at the Croke Park which became the largest audience for a single concert in the TC tour. A stadium show in Sweden? First time she plays a stadium there. Last time she visited the country was 9 years ago. In between there were no hit singles or albums. An 12,000-capacity arena show in Denmark? She played at Parken Stadium in 1997 to 18,500 and 40,000 in 2008. No show in Geneva? That Francophone city has been ignored in 2013 and 2016. She sold 20,000 tickets there in 2008. An arena in Berlin is a good move. In 2008, they overestimated her draw and Frankfurt and Munich stadia were half empty. I hope other European countries are added soon. Dublin of course, then, Norway, Finland, Spain, Italy, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, East European countries, Russia... She can do all that in August. Let's hope this time they don't cut corners and create a better stage. They can't use the same stage as in the shows in the arenas, it's too small to fit a stadium. DionFanAlways Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:58 AM Posted January 26, 2017 at 01:58 AM Just my observations but I think they should rename this tour, "Celine Dion tours France" (please tell me it's not a repeat set list from last year) but Yay! new stuff! 2 Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
