I'll just relax in Manchester for a couple of days & hope that I can get to the rescheduled dates. Other people probably aren't so lucky & I truly feel bad for them. Both of her Manchester dates were reportedly sell-outs so this is awful news for the 30,000 odd fans that will miss out. I appreciate the sentiment that comes with postponement, but as a good will gesture - they should offer refunds. I have a ticket for the Manchester date - but luckily, I also have tickets for both Birmingham dates so I will be fine. But gutted for those who are attending only the one date in Manchester. If you can't make the rescheduled date, you will be refunded. I have worked in more box offices for theatrical/musical performances than I can count. The wording for no refunds under any circumstances is just to let people know that it doesn't matter if your spouse got hit by a car, there are no refunds - sell your ticket to someone else. It doesn't matter if you had food poisoning, there are no refunds - sell your ticket to someone else. However, if the artist/producers/venue cancel or reschedule the performance, there will always be a refund given. That's the law. There is no way they can get around it. They're not going to want to - they will push and push you to make the rescheduled date; however, legally, you bought a ticket for one date and the performance isn't happening on that date, you get a refund. 3 Quote
