Trump has far more support than I ever thought possible! For those who may not be aware... In the U.S. the Presidential election (rightly or wrongly) is actually decided by electoral votes. This is rather lengthy to get into, but feel free to do an internet search for information.

It is possible for a candidate to win the popular vote, but NOT the electoral vote. It's still early yet, but I have seen no data that shows Trump actually leading in Electoral votes at this time...

He will not win. While he may be close in overall support, it does come down to electoral votes and the math for him is not at all in his favor. Based on what is presumed, he pretty much needs to win all swing states to win...she's close enough to where she could lose all the swing states except just 1 and still win.

He is an idiot. I hope he doesn't win.

The Red Heads just posted the photo of Céline and René with Donald Trump saying "Congratulation Mr. President". It's completely ridiculous and inappropriate on so many levels IMO.

And of course, they received many negative comments.

I was just about to write the same. It's very VERY inappropriate, they are way out of line here and it was completely unecessary...what does Celine have to do with politics?

Let's say it loud and clear.... it is just stupid!!! I always sensed some kind of madness from RH. This post just proves it!!! :wtf:

It's interesting to me to see the views of the world to American politics. Why is the political process in a country that you don't live in critical? In the long run will it really effect your life? It effects mine because I'm American but will Trump being president effect your daily comings and goings? Just wondering.

That's a valid question! I think that all of us have some kind of tie to the US. For me it's a large part of my family who are Americans, a ton of my friends and a lot of my clients. Aside from that, I am not a fan of misogynistic bigots in general and seeing one become the president of one of the biggest 'forces' of the planet...well it upsets me a lot. I know all politicians are more or less dirty (politics is a game I never understood nor was ever interested in and speakin of dirty politicians....just look at the state in which Greece is today because of our dirty politicians...) so I'm not saying one or the other candidate was better or more suited and I certainly don't have the right to judge the word of the American people (who elected Trump). But, Trump becoming POTUS is yet one more rather 'radical' change in the world as we know it, following Brexit and - in my own 'home'- seeing a completely unsuitable government (have you heard our prime minister Tsipras speaking English?) being elected and plunging our country into chaos.

Thanks for answering. I couldn't stand, in fact, detested both of what the people were offered as candidates that's why I voted 3rd party. (honestly, that's the same as not voting, lol) The world will continue spinning.

As someone who actually lives in America, I'm amazed at how one-sided people's reactions to this election have been. All everyone is saying is how shocked they are that Donald Trump won instead of realizing that most Americans were saying how in the world did we get two candidates who were both such miserable choices. Just because you don't like Donald Trump doesn't mean you should be singing the praises of Hillary Clinton. She has repeatedly lied over the years, sought out ways to demean the women who were involved with her husband during his presidency just so she could remain in the political arena, and she's directly responsible for the deaths of soldiers due to her actions or lack thereof. She angered a lot of Americans with her lies, and this is the result. Is Donald Trump mouthy? Yes...is he rude and obnoxious? Yes again, but I think most people believe what he says, and that's what happened in this election. People are sick of a liberal spin being put on every single news story that isn't ever actually reporting the news. Our media has become nothing but an opinionated argument against conservative values and all of the rural populations rose up in protest. Democracy at work.
