Just to say that it was not Paul Anka but Alain Delon. They had recorded Paroles Paroles for a show called Faites La Fête, hosted by Michel Drucker. The taping began at 4 am!!

Delon then admits that he was "subjugated and upset by Celine's kindness and simplicity". "She's great!" he exclaims. He adds visibly conquered: "Until now, I had known only two wives of this quality: Barbra Streisand and Milva, the italian Piaf".

The show was taped on Dec. 1, 1996, to be broadcast on the 31st.

I hated that outfit so much!!!

It fits in the same category as 1999's infamous back-ward Dior suit.

Maybe she chose it because it had chest benefits!

 

What was Celine thinking that night?

I think it was a benefit concert.

 

Maybe there was a THEME going on? I can't tell. David looked like somewhat suave. Barbra looked classy ( BTW Barbara could've passed for Celine's tagalong mom ). Celine looked.......nevermind I won't go there

It's as though Celine stole this outfit from one of Vega's Show Girls. All she needed was a whip and she was set!
