Hi my name is Daniel McGuire (aka Danny Jackson-Monroe online). I am 19 years old living in Las Vegas,NV. I am a huge huge Celine Dion fan. I've only been a big fan for a couple years,but she means so much to me and not enough words can really describe how much she means to me and to so many countless others. My favorite Celine song is "Then You Look At Me" (as evidenced by my icon and signature lol) and my favorite Celine album is "Let's Talk About Love". I've never seen Celine live but I hope that changes if I'm offered tickets to see her after entering her "Be Part Of The Show" contest which ends today (July 24th,2015). My favorite live performance by Celine is The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face from the opening night of A New Day... that was aired on CBS back in 2003. I would love to interact with more Celine fans and get to know some great people.

You do know you are lucky enough to live that close to Celine, do you ? :-) Especially you, Daniel! You might see her just driving(/been driven...) around in her limo in your street some day if you are lucky enough. I myself live in Antwerp, Belgium - a modest European country where people are not so modest about the quality of their chocolate and french fries. Maybe you know it and then you would also know that there is a lot of water and land between me and the city of LV. Just saying that many fans, like myself, live not that close to the Colosseum and some even at the other side of the globe. You can imagine the cost just to get to LV! When I graduated from university in the summer of 2007 I decided to reward myself for my studying effort over the years with a ticket to see Celine in LV. I saved up some money. She was then singing her A New Day show. Really, guys, if you got the chance to see her, go and do it, maybe team up! Especially when you have never seen her IRL before. I can guarantee you (and must warn you), when you go and see her for the first time in your life and she suddenly stands in front of you singing all those songs you know so well you will be blown away and remain seated at the same time. That's a lot emotions to take! I ended up sitting in row EE, which was not at all far from the stage, in section ORCH4, which was right in the middle of the stage! I remember her taking the stage to sing RDMH and progressing from the back of the stage to the front like she typically does when performing that song. I swear that during that time lapse she kept looking right into my eyes to have some sort of focus I guess and walk in a straight line. I really was in a face-to-face lining with her and I dressed up all white unlike other persons near to me so an easy eyecatcher. It could have been my imagination but I refuse to believe otherwise! For the rest of my iife, haha! :-)

 

Here is a photo of my ticket. I framed it once when I was in a creative mood. I hope you can do something similar soon. The both of you!

Thanks for the welcome Yes we are definitely very LUCKY I myself DEFINETELY plan to go and see CELINE next year when I graduate from college I already saved up $ but I need somebody to go with me but either way I'll find my way to go for sure. Yes I want to feel that experience when she sings my fav songs live omg that would be AMAZING. I'm glad you had the opportunity to go see her even though you live far away that's awesome and really touching experience I imagine all the emotions you felt. If I were to live in another country my greatest fear is that never having the opportunity to see Celine but luckily for me LV is not that far.
