And so tragic that the death was so sudden - I think of what Celine said in the Nightline interview -- how it's harder for people who don't even have time to say goodbye.

This is tragic, makes me wanna shout 'would you please stop dying, talented people?'. His legacy is inestimable, and maybe this sounds a bit veird but music-wise he wrote a big part of my childhood. I was crazy 'bout American Tale as a kid, Biccential Man is a BEAUTIFUL movie and 'Then You Look At Me' is one of my favorite Celine's songs and I don't even mention Titanic. His music will remain with us :down:

As we're celebrating James Horner...a little gift for the forum. I mixed these myself to make one seamless transition. Both tracks contain the music for the final scene of Bicentennial Man as well as Then You Look At Me. The first file is the studio version from All The Way...A Decade of Song. The second file is the orchestral version from the movie soundtrack. Enjoy! :wub:

Celine should definitely sing MHWGO and TYLAM together (not medley 😆 just one after the other) and have scenes from the MV's and films on the screen.

I would love to hear that live. After the Pandora concert, they started opening MHWGO like that in Vegas (at least the few shows I attended after Pandora, so presumably it just became part of the show). But, I think it was just playback (I could be wrong about that though).

They've always done the intro to the song since the start of the show (it was also part of the TCWT), but it's when she's backstage (presumably changing) and it's playback... The Pandora concert is the one time that she did it live, on-stage.

I'm finishing up a James Horner marathon this morning. I listened to the following yesterday and this morning:

  • "My Heart Will Go On" music video (from "All The Way...A Decade of Song & Video")
  • "Then You Look At Me" music video (from "All The Way...A Decade of Song & Video")
  • "Titanic" soundtrack
  • "Braveheart" soundtrack
  • "Bicentennial Man" soundtrack
  • "I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You," by Marc Anthony & Tina Arena from "The Mask of Zorro"
  • "Back To Titanic" soundtrack
  • "Where Are You Christmas?," by Faith Hill
  • "The Perfect Storm" soundtrack

I still can't believe he's gone. :down: :cry:

That's the trouble. It would only happen if she was already on stage. Or if she were to sing TYLAM followed by MHWGO. Then she could do it.

My hope for the end of the show is TYLAM, MHWGO, and then TCOML. I think that would be a beautiful ending to the show, and would give tribute to everything that she's going through right now, what Rene is going through, and all the events surrounding her life right now.

I absolutely think Celine will sing Then You Look At Me in her show now. There was talk they were discussing opening the show with it a few months ago..but now with James Horner passing..I think it will now be in the show somewhere for sure.

I know alot of people want Celine to sing TYLAM, but for me I'm not totally sure about it, she never sing it anywhere before so not sure if it would work, I love the song but just don't know if it would work that's all.

But after all these time & all these has been happening... I would have to say it will suit the show & will be amazing also emotional too.... but for opening the show I'm not totally sure though..

This news is so sad. I can't believe it. Does anyone know when the funeral is and if Celine is going to be there? I know Celine has a lot going on in her life right now with Rene and his health issues, but James Horner wrote Celine's biggest hit song in her career so I wonder if she will sing mhwgo or tylam at his funeral?

 

So so sad. My prayers go out to his family. Such a big talent gone way to soon, so tragic.

I still cant get over that he passed away. James Horner, Celine and James Cameron are my biggest loves in my life, every one of them wouldnt be here with this strenght without the other two. Im crying every time i think about him. Its such a waste waste waste omg:( To know that I wont hear his amazing music in next Avatar movies is just incredibly paifull. Everything other will be just a poor imitation:(

 

Its even more sad because i was about to write him a letter and ask him to bring Celine back in some of his next projects:(

 

I was thinking if we couldnt write to James Cameron about the same think, to bring Celine back for one of the next Avatar movies, it would be such a nice tribute.

 

i miss him so much:(

I just listened to "Then you llok at me" from the Bicentennial Man Soundtrack.

It looks a bit different than the version we have on ATW ADOS.

honestly, I think that the caffeine made this song quite unique because this singing style just fits the song :D
