DVD different nights

Hey everyone !

 

After watching the DVD for the 10384738th time I noticed that it was actually filmed on a few nights. I noticed because her make up and her hair is different So I'm guessing it was filmed over two or three nights which had me wondering how did they make her voice match with the image. I'm aware that she uses playback for a few songs but did she use a playback for all the songs for the dvd filming ? Please light me in! Thanks !

If you mean the 'A New Day...' DVD, the concert was filmed during the January 17-21, 2007 week. They match her voice with the image after filming, during the post-production work.

 

Even though I don't really like to get into the playback topic, I'll clarify it for you now; the lipped songs are:

 

· The Power Of Love from the first 'I'm your lady' to the end.

· It's All Coming Back To Me Now

· To Love You More

· I Drove All Night

· Some parts of I Surrender

· Ammore Annascunnuto

· I Wish

· My Heart Will Go On

 

I hope I haven't forgot any song and have helped you!

Most of them I knew. But I wish? Really ?! Why? The notes are not even that high! And ammore a. Same! That surprises me. It's so obvious when she uses a playback. She moves her lips too much. But I never noticed for this one. Do you know why?

For I Wish, probably because of her dynamic movements while performing it, it would have been quite hard for her to sing live while moving like that and, for Ammore Annascunnuto, she used to sing it live and in full earlier on the show, but she shortened it and added a pre-recorded track, I think because she was walking slowly through a stage that was "not straight" (can't find the right word now lol).

And what is your opinion on this guys ? And you didn't name RDMH but I always thought that was a playback too.
