Celine led me to Véronic, who led me to Lara Fabian! And then I stumbled across this clip from Paris! But it can be really tough sometimes being isolated (mostly in winter). And I'm leaving to go study in Québec City because there is no university here. So be forced to leave is the price to pay to be born here. I hope Céline will do more shows closer to Charlemagne so I can actually afford seeing her ! 2 Quote

I love the old videos and so glad Condor is translating them!! But Sonia sometimes asks silly questions . .saying most people take a month off from work to plan their wedding [implication being: poor Celine who works too much to do that] -- and asking if she regrets not being able to do that?! I've never known anyone who took more than maybe a couple of days off work to prepare for a wedding. Most people would lose their jobs if they took that much time off and would have no way to pay for the wedding! And I think Celine had about a month off for her honeymoon after the wedding - waaay more than the average person. So, yeah, I know she worked a lot and traveled a lot, but, no, I don't feel sorry for her that she didn't take a month off to plan her wedding. That's just ridiculous. 2 Quote

She says she's proud of her own songs but has a lot of fun doing others' songs as well. That's why she does covers - she enjoys them. She's always done them and that's unlikely to ever change.
