But so often now, her voice sounds deeper, more throaty, or else more nasal (Parlé a mon père, for example, represents a very different vocal tone than in this video). So has Céline's voice just changed to the point where she can no longer sing like this, or has her technique and singing style simply changed while she's been in Vegas (perhaps in an effort to preserve her voice?). Not her belting or whatever. Just this sound, this sweet sharpness. And I don't know how to explain it : it seems so clear to me, and and so clear she just doesn't have it anymore. Whenever she used to sing with another singer, it was just so clear : this video shows it. She might just hit the same notes as them, but the quality of her voice is just in another league. There's only one other singer who came close to having that sound, and it was Whitney. Otherwise, I'm still looking for it lol. Quote
