ohhh watching TT live , it's so bittersweet - it's just another proof that there is noone in this world that could sing like celine , with so much power and style and those notes OMG...u can look around - u just wont find an artist that sounds so good and amazing , this woman is just a treasure :giggle:

 

it's a bit bitter cause celine is almost 40 already and it's obvious that she cant sing like this anymore , she still sounds better than all the other singers her age but i'm not even sure that i want to hear her sing TT again - it would be too sad cause it cant be like it used to be ^_^

J'ai besoin d'un chum is AMAZING! It's one of her finest vocal performances ever. :w00t:

 

And gogo, I think she would sound MORE than fine singing TT live again. She sounded very good while singing Le Blues Du Buisnessman while being sick - just imagine how would she sound without having this throat infection. Anyway to be honest I wouldn't want her to sing this song the same way again, there was this time for it to be sung that way and in 2008 there will come time for her to sing it differently. Time is due for everything and everyone.

Well, she was sick and she did very good considering the given situation. :innocent: There is a difference between screwing up a performance cuzz you have bad day or you're simply just sick or NOT being able to hit the notes cuzz your voice is damaged.

Here are a few links. The first one is in French and she is singing to someone named George T (celebrity or fan?!). It's great because she is singing this to him and a few people in her Las Vegas reception area.

The other clip is in French from a TV show called "Classe Confidential" from 8/2006.
