Thanks so much for uploading the scans! Celine looks amazing! Its does break my heart though. No singer has ever touched my heart as much as Celine. I truly love her and family. They are strong and I am hoping that Rene will be around for a few years yet!! Celine is truly inspiring with her love and passion for her family and music.

The news of her comeback is bittersweet indeed. The pictures are lovely, I'm glad she's back yet in the back of my mind there's this thought that tells me that one of the reasons why she's coming back is because Rene wants to have another chance to see her on stage, to see his Masterpiece, the legend he created. For me it is a no go, too expensive, too far. But I am sure many of you will be there

I'm curious about this as well. And with the cancer recurrence (assuming I've read everything correctly) that's where my earlier comments about these may be Rene's final shows came from. Not trying to dig his grave before it's time but some things really worry me. I think she knows time may be limited and she's doing it for him. Anyone notice she said that first in the interview and seemed to quickly add for her fans and herself right after that? I may be reading too much into that but it still makes me wonder.

Quite a few us are going. It will be a night to remember for sure. And I know we'll all have pictures and stories.

I'm glad they are living each day to the fullest. I'm glad Celine is coming back to the stage. I was sad when she said that some people have no time, or no warning, about cancer/death.....made me wonder if this was a down hill round. I love Celine and Rene. Don't even know them remotely, but they have had such a wonderful life together. I am continuing to pray for his complete healing.

Sadly that's true. My mum got told by doctor that he was pretty sure she had cancer. Mum died 5 weeks later.

I hope Celine and Rene have a long time together still ahead.

What kills me is they found out on their wedding anniversary! How horrible!

 

My moms friend had cancer for 5 years and didn't know when she was finally diagnosed she died in less then 6 months

At least Rene was able to see doctors asap, get treatment quickly. Back in '99 and since. I'm sure this has helped his prognosis, especially first time round. Shan't comment on this time because we don't know the facts. I hope it applies to this time too.

Yeah it was awful they found out on their wedding anniversary.

I'm still remaining positive for Rene. And I'm glad Celine is being as strong as she possibly can be. In my experience you have to. Otherwise you just crumble!

Then again, didn't Celine say she put a tiny little Christmas tree next to his bed, and they brought his presents to him.

And I don't think we ever heard if he was in remission again after the third diagnosis. I know he's doing well but does that mean he's healed so to speak or just well considering? It seems like she leaned towards saying he's still undergoing radiation treatment?

 

It's hard to tell and they're being a bit vague to that end. I doubt she would outright say that right now. Just makes me wonder/worry.

They are probably being careful. I think from the interviews he is not currently in remission. I imagine that having had a set back already they wouldn't want to make a big thing of him getting better just in case. It's very much wait and see for them as well as us.
