Wow, it just hit me, 23 songs....... wow!

 

Let's remember tho, some will be counted as more than one because of medleys, some may be a song by Barnev while Celine changes, some may be considered a song but could be a music interlude and some will be drastically shortene. Caesars Palace rule that the show can only be 90 minutes from start to finish no exceptions, and of course it has to with them wanting the people back in the casinos, restaurants, bars, clubs spending money.

 

It also says Celine will do hologram with 2 Vegas legends I want to believe that could misleading because I think they consider Celine a Vegas legend so I personally think " How Do you keep the music playing-" will still be performed.

Yes I heard it too, was surprised. I've been in Vegas for a few hours now - long day flying. Just dropped some $$s in the store, the new program is out and it has the new band and Scott Price in it. It's $30, they have the last program as well for the same price along with some AND programs and they are only $10 I think. There's new things in the store from when I was here in 2011 - some expensive some not - some of the older stuff is reduced. They have a non-flaming candle for $25! I want it! LOL Also some really nice picture frames that go for $20-25. I love the new key chains too, damn, I better win in the casino for all this!

 

It was nice to see fans from all over around the store too - there's such a good feeling here in anticipation of the show.

That's a fun interview! (Especially the security guard who interrupts halfway through asking the interviewer to sign in - ha!)

But only 1 song in French :down: Was hoping for more, especially if "the show is about René". Wonder what it could be...La Vie en Rose, maybe? Habanera from Carmen..haha, I'm grasping at straws here. She's only performed those on a handful of occasions.

Much as I'd love for Ne Me Quitte Pas to remain on the set list, that would be just cruel... there's no way she could possibly get through that now.

Im getting emotional thinking how Celine's gonna feel when she gonna left home tomorrow for the stage without René. Its the first time that hes not gonna be there for a premiere. I have a feeling that the French song is Je n'ai pas peur de mourrir avec toi. She sang it one time for the concert for Eddy Marney's Hommage. Regarding the fact that we know that the French song is not from her repertoire and that she sang it maybe one time in the past and the story about René, it make sens I think.

So I was just at Starbucks in the casino and Scott walked by. Just followed him around the casino lol then he walked into the colosseum. Wish I could've followed :(

 

I was there too, I thought that was him being interviewed. Wow, he must have a lot going on just about now! LOL

I wouldn't mind her singing "Je l'aime à mourir" in the acoustic section of the show. I loved her performance with the other guys on the Lete Indien show, and I think she would sing it beautifully herself.

So far, if my memory is correct, Caesars Palace has played the following non-single tracks within the past week:

  • "Real Emotion"
  • "Save Your Soul"
  • "Somebody Loves Somebody"

 

I think "Real Emotion" is the biggest surprise of those three. I wonder if Celine would ever consider performing it live for the first time.

The pictures in the montage for the show has changed too. Any picture with the former band members have been taken out. The new pictures include Barnev singing "Spinning Wheel," Elise playing during MHWGO, a trumpet player playing, Dominique playing during Paganini, Elise and Dawn during RDMH, the cellos during the MJ quartet, and Scott during rehearsal.

I'm so happy for all of you who can be there at the opening night! And at the same time sooo jealous!! Please share everything you can with us, I'm living this through you! :D

 

I'm getting the feeling that tonight is going to be one of the most remarkable shows of her life. The emotions must be running so high.

 

The whole thing with Rene is so sad. I Cant even begin to imagine what they must be going through. Celine is so strong.

 

Sorry, if there are any weird words in this post, my phone's autocorrect uses Finnish :D hope you got the point anyways :)

The energy in Las Vegas and especially around Caesars is electric for Celine's massive re-opening performance. I cant tell you how many times I have heard people visiting or working here talking about Celine and her return. This place is buzzing! I am staying here for this trip and you can really tell EVERYONE is super excited to have her back. One of the employees at Caesars told me that the new show will definitely be atleast 10 times more spectacular than the previous version. ALSO...I heard Unfinished Songs playing in the hotel! I should probably go to sleep to make tmrw come faster, but I am too excited to sleep haha Edited by celinemaniac07

I'm so sad I couldn't get the time off from work to be in Vegas for this show. I hope everyone there has a fantastic time!!!

Just got back from the boutiqur lot of new stuff and a new program!!

 

Nothing new. No new shoot. Its a mix of the alix malka shoot, pics from USF, pics from Bercy, pocs from Celine. And a few tiny new pics from the last few months billboard, in studio etc

Tonights the night!!!! :)

 

Don't 4get to get Celine trending worldwide later today with #celineisback from 11pm UK, 12am Europe, 3pm Vegas, 6am/8am Asia/Australia (28th).

 

Imagine Celine being told by the press at this afternoons press conference that she's trending worldwide ahead of curtain up later tonight, what a great boost of support that would give her, if we can all make this possible. :P

 

So please help if you can and tweet as many times in that hour as possible with that hash tag!

Ok, a bit disappointed about the French song situation, why not hers? :cry: However if it turns out to be La Vie en Rose, then I could possibly forgive them! :giggle:

 

Getting lose ends together and heading for the airport soon. The plane won't get there fast enough!!
