Translation Contre Nature

Hello All,

 

i'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, i simply couldn't find a better place

 

Does anyone know the translation to Celine's song Contre Nature?

the song itself has been stuck in my head for weeks now.. and google translation gives me a half correct translation that makes no sense ('m from Dutch background) so i was hoping someone could globally tell me what the song is about? and do i dare dream maybe even has a correct translation?

I've always wondered about the translation of this song. Thanks so much for the topic and for the link. I may start using that site for some of the songs I still don't know. Priere PaAenne is another one I love I don't know lol.

I don't know what that one means either. I love it, and Contre Nature both re amazing songs. I can almost sing the chorus to Contre Nature and it makes way more sense when you actually know what you're singing. Great topic!!!! I love that more people, not just Anglophones from America, want to understand her/what she is singing about. Promoting the French language...she would be proud and thrilled for that!!!!!

Kaiser, since you're also a Dutchman, I'm just guessing you don't have any problem translating:

 

'Toutes les blessures'

'C'est pas normal'

'C'est contre nature'

'Toutes les injures' (since you obviously can speak English too)

 

Am I right? Am I right? :-)

 

('blessures', ' normal' and 'nature' in French are pronounced exactly the same in Dutch.)

 

And there is probably no sentence in any Celine song that is more familiar to the Dutch as 'C'est pas normal'. It's one of the most frequently used sentences by Dutch people in everyday conversation. 'Da's niet normaal, man!' LOL

The te t is translatable yes, but it didnt make any sense and often, a human can translate the context, where as a computer usually can not if that makes any sense..
