crazy4music Posted November 10, 2014 at 01:27 AM Posted November 10, 2014 at 01:27 AM Since I'm brand new here and there are so many pages and pages of discussion, I don't know if anyone has posted a link to this yet, or if any of you have seen this, which you probably have. But I just found this article yesterday and thought it was pretty interesting. It's about how Celine's vocal engineer records her in the studio. Enjoy! http://mixonline.com...on//index1.html 7 Quote Check out what I'm listening to on my Last.fm profile! Music is my world!

Interesting article! This part made me think of the SISDA recording, where Celine says that technology isn't ready yet to record her voice in all it's glory “Celine is so dynamic that you need to be on top of every piece of gear in the chain to make sure that nothing is overloading when she is singing a loud note." I bet!!! Some recordings from Callas we hear are of different quality. How much of the voice beauty and power was lost because of recordings. I think it is clear the difference of the voice and comfort zone in the French and English albums. After reading the article, it indeed is obvious she is more relaxed in French songs, and it has less "technical" work done compared to English songs. 1 Quote Celine ~
